The only time I've seen my temps go really high was when I was folding on my laptop. My desktop that has been running constantly since I first started folding somehow is managing to regulate itself really well. Here's a current snapshot of the processor cores folding at 100%:

No idea why your cores are running that HOT, Loft!

Throttles: I'm running an H50 in push/pull with Rexus fans on a 12v fan controller, at max.

Dusty: Yeah, I don't know. I think the motherboard is seriously on it's way out. When I first started folding again I set my rig to use HT and clocked it down to 3.8ghz to keep it stable at the voltage I've been running it at (1.225vcore) on an Intel i7 930. The ram is overvolted at 1.66v which is only .01 above recommended max - so it's barely overvolted. Ram timings tightened to 8-8-8-24 and it is also underclocked at 1543mhz or so (i'm at work) - but that being said, folding was fine but I've been having random instability lately. Random blue screens indicating i need to increase vcore for the cpu; i've also tried stabilizing by fine tuning other voltages. Presently I've disabled HT and voltage is at the same but the temps have gone from 55c-58c load to 70-75c load with NO changes. (These were the same temps I was getting before reapplying thermal paste aka TIM)

I've also been having weird instances of usb ports randomly not powering on... but who knows.

Have you tried setting the BIOS back to default factory settings and seeing if that makes a difference?

Of course. But then things are slowwwwwwww. Well, comparitively speaking. 2.8ghz vs 4ghz... meh. Plus the weird hardware failures and games freezing/bsod'ing keeps happening.

I would suspect corruption in either CPU or RAM rather than MB with symptoms such as those.

Yeah, I don't have another lga 1366 to test. I'm leaning more towards motherboard or cpu than ram. Gonna run memtest tonight after work, we will see. Oh I forgot to mention the fact that the motherboard is randomly changing the ram timings at boot. It's sporadic, but that started happening this week as well.

Does anybody know what time F@H updates? Everytime I got to to check stats it's updating.

It updates every hour, on the hour. Takes about 15 minutes to get done. ;)
