I'm running Windows client 7.3.6. If I'm reading the changelogs correctly, I think the slider problem was solved with release 7.3.3, but I'm not sure. Just restating that so far I have not encountered the bug myself.
Your results may vary. I'm not saying it will happen to you - but that was the client it happened to me on.
Dusty - ya I know. Would be far too much of a headache to constantly have to update. I'm worried about the *nix unit... afraid I may not make the deadline
Well, nertz! How would you recommend I do reboots? Should I pause the slot, exit, then reboot? This is my everyday machine so updates and stuff on other software often require a restart.
Yes. Pause the slot, wait about 5-10 seconds, then do whatever you need to do.
Is anyone else seeing errors when attempting to get a new WU? This is what I'm seeing in the logs and my GPU slot is in a download status, so I'm guessing they're having server issues this morning:
I'm not at home to check but I did notice the same behavior on, I believe, the same IP for my GPU as well. It eventually will grab the WU and go.
Might be that server. I downloaded and uploaded about 40 minutes before you but to and from different servers with no hiccups.
That's what I figured. I had this happen once before and it took about 6 or so hours to clear up, but eventually it got the new WU. It also seems to have the previous completed GPU WU stuck in Upload status, but that might just be because the new WU hasn't started yet.

It's been happening the last few days. I've setup another dozen or so PC's in the last few days, and noticed it struggling to grab a WU to get started a number of times.
It seems to have corrected itself and I'm back to grinding on a couple of WUs now.

Well the time has come....I must put the folding on hold for a little while as i love to play Starcraft II from Blizzard Entertainment (actually i love the Diablo series and Warcraft series too....i play World of Warcraft a bunch) and the first expansion is set to be released the 12th and i have already pre purchased the digital copy and tonight i get to download it (cant play till the 12th but hey its a step in the right direction!!) Gotta put all my computer power for the download but i will resume the folding once i complete the download (its several gigs.) so as i have set the client on finish and once its done soon i will be closing the client for the first time since i started folding (ok second, i had to restart it once) but rest assured i will be back as soon as i can!!

Download complete!! I will be returning to folding tomorrow as i think my computer deserves (and has earned) a little off time for cool down and resting! Time to fire up the laptop for web surfing for the night!
Hotrod, I was big time into WoW, and EverQuest, and EQ2 before that. I stepped away about 4 years ago, raiding got so intense that it was more like a job than entertainment.

Bo: Its not as bad now. I do some raiding (mostly with the raid finder feature or a pick up group), some dungeons (again using dungeon finder or pick up group) but mostly i just go at my own pace with quests and daily quests. Occasionally i will work on the achievements for a change of pace. I am in a guild but its a few guys from work and we all go at our own pace and sometimes group together for stuff.
Loft: i cant wait for report either...
