Help for total beginner please

I have been following these discussions for some time and have decided to jump in and try to stop smoking uing a Joye 510. It came this morning, and on first charge. I got a 10ml bottle with it, and 10 cartridges. Having read the instructions fully, I understand the supplied cartridges are only to be used once. The obvious (apologies if stupid) question, is where does this liquid go? Do I need separate refillable cartridges or something? Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

You can refill the cartridges using the juice. Just drip onto the cart filling until it doesn't soak it in anymore, and starts to pool on top of the filler material.

be sure not to leave the pool on top when you put the cart back on though, it could flood your atty I do believe.

No such thing as a stupid question. It's smart to ask them. When you fill the carts with liquid don't let a pool form on top of the filler. Stop just when the fibers look wet but there's no puddle. Excess juice in the cart can run into the vent chanel and get sucked into your mouth and that's just NASTY! You can also flood the atomizer and it won't work as well. If you get a puddle on top just dab it with a tissue or paper towel or something.

You can order empty carts also, but most of us reuse the ones that came with our kits. A lot of folks on here wash them out and replace the filling & continue to use them. The only stupid question is the one not asked, so don't ever feel that way. Good Luck!

Marineland Magnum Foam Sleeve "Rite-Size U" 3pk.
which is CHEAP at any pet store that sells aquarium stuff.

Yep!! JohnnyR, I'd throw away da carts,put on a drip tip and drip 2 or 3 drops onto the atom and be done wiffit!!(but thats juts my thunk'n). goot lucks to ya wiff er E-smok'n....Hecknaw

I don't bother with running the filler under tap water. I just drip onto the used carts. Eventually the liquid flavor (if it is a different flavor) will take over.

I never drip onto the atomizer (unless I have just cleaned it, which is almost never) because that is how people end up getting their atomizers gunked up - especially if they are using e-juice with VG in it. They then wonder why an atomizer only lasts them a week or two.

I have been vaping for over 6 months and my atomizers usually last me at least two months. I use both a 510 and a 901.

Yep!! dis ain't fer ebbybody!! Compared to the cost of a pack of smoke fer a week vs an atom a week i'll buy an atom every week(but i don't haffa cause I still get 3 to 5 weeks out uf a atom!!)......Hecknaw

Honestly, I've never flooded a 510 atty by letting juice pool on the top of the cart. Ive even found that it works better that way.
