Help!Got my Swedish Snus and hate it!

Qty 3 General mint portion
2- General original portion
1 - General Silver Portion
1- Gotesburg Rape white portion
1-Rhoda Lacket white portion
1- Thunderberry Extra strong portion
1-Chainni Khaini Mango portion
I just don't like the flavors! I tried 2 from each flavor and can't stand them. I would love to trade for Arriva Stonewall or some good tobacco flavored juice. Help. Paid 56.00 for the stuff. I like Camel Snus and Marlboro, but can't stomach the Swedish flavoring.
PM if interested. Got the order the other day, so still fresh. 2 mint and 1 general original still un opened. the others only two gone.

Where did you buy them? 56 seems like a lot for 10 cans. How much are you expecting to get for them? I bought a ten can roll a couple weeks ago for 36 shipped from swedishsnus.com .

Not a big fan of any of your choices with the exception of Roda Lacket, and that in loose form. I go mostly with the straight tobacco flavors.... as in Ettan, Grovsnus and 01. But having said that you likely had quite a shock coming from the candy sweet American snus to the salty type Swedish snus. It can be a big adjustment.

Two portions of each flavor is not nearly enough to get a feel for any one flavor, especially as you were likely expecting the likes of sweet Wine Coolers and instead got a Single Malt Whisky. For the most part Swedish snuses are adult flavors made for adults while the American snus are in flavors any 10 year old would love.

Now I know why my wife was always telling me I acted like a child!! I never did take a shine to the swedish snus....I am(of course)a big fan of swedish snuff!

I'll just echo everyone else so far and say that it's a definite adjustment period. My first taste of snus was Camel Mellow and I sort of liked the sweetness. I've always had a pretty big sweet tooth anyway. My fist Swedish snus, General OP, was a massive shock to the system. I thought I had poured a salt shaker in my mouth. I've never come to love General OP, but after a few days I really came to enjoy General Mint. Most everyone here is a fan of the Swedish brands, but if it's Camel and Marlboro that do it for you, there's no crime in it. Taste is darned subjective and I'm sure there are plenty of Swedish flavors that I'll never have a taste for (I'm loooing at you, Ice Fruit).

I've got a freezer full as it is, so I can't do much more at the moment than provide moral support. Hope you find something that works for you.

I'll second that Allco on the Ice Fruit. That's the only one I've ever thrown away. I went back and tried it several times but it never tasted any better. I went from camel frost to the mini mints and thunder frost minis. That wasn't too bad of a transition. I never did like the general op. I've never tried the gotesburg or rhoda lacket but do like the thunder berry for a kick in the pants in the morning. As a matter of fact, I've got one in right now.

Im not sure if ya, ever used any smokeless tobacco..
I am mentioning that because there is a little (week) of a learning curve...
I wouldn't give up, give them a try, as it will be hard to recoup the $ value (post pact)..

Oh shoot, my friend was just up there in the UP. He's rolling back tonight. I wish I saw this earlier. But, really I wouldn't want to take all your snus. It may grow on you. Did you get hit with big shipping cost? Hence the 56 bux?

I really don't like the taste or smell . I like Camel and Marlboro. For some reason the Swedish stuff has this weird taste and very salty. I bought the stuff at Buysnus.com and paid a small fortune for the shipping. I would be willing to trade for 30mil or so of 36mg, good tobacco flavor juice. I will not use this stuff. Don't want to even try to get used to it. Will use Camel Snus for a crutch with the juice.

Dave, let me say that I understand. I, too, find the Camel and Marlboro snus to taste very good, while anything from Sweden takes some getting used to. That said, I got used to it. It's been far cheaper, and the portions are far stronger, than American brands.

The ONLY Swedish snus that has a chance with you is General Mini Mint and Fellini. And I seriously doubt you'll like even those sweet, minty snus portions.

I would be lost without my Java Stonewall. Might try those or the Ariva dissolvables. Very sweet hard snuff.
