Once again thank toy everyone for all the advice. I'm looking at sites right now trying to find everything I need / want on one site. An before I big anything I'm goin to make a list of what I am buying an from what site. That way if I left anything out I can I can just add it on. I also wanna make sure I don't order a ego clone or anything.

Just a side note I think I'm goin to order a take setup and I want a drip tip. So what I was thinking was to order a kit and then order extra stuff on the side. Hopefully this way would be less expensive. I just have a hard time finding the pink one in a kit.

If the color you want is not in the kit, you can email them and ask if they'll substitute your Pink ones for the Black ones. Most of these suppliers are very small business's and some will accomodate special requests.

A nice thing with Sweet-Vapes kit is that it has a 1000mah and a 650mah twist. You might want to consider having one of each size as the 1000mah Twist is VERY long once you stick a tank and drip tip on it.

The Vision eGo will be best at 2.5 ohm so you can use the full range of voltage.

You have only one attachment. If the tank on it breaks you have nothing to vape.

Best to get some more items, either another eGo Vision or try some clearos or cartos.

I suggest you order 1 or 2 small bottle from the site you are purchasing the ego from regardless... it really really suck when you have batteries all charged up and no juice or vice versus.

I would also get 1 more of that rebuildable... you have 2 batteries... make use of them. (and just in case one is a dud.

Main differences are that you can see the juice level and most clearo's use wicks as opposed to filler material to take the juice to the heating coils. Some (including me) have found that they prefer the taste of wick systems to filler. Others find the opposite.

When the taste goes bad in a carto you either try to clean it, or as some do, toss it. With clearo's that have rebuildable heads, you take them apart (not difficult) and throw away the wick and coil and build a new wick/coil (easy to do). Then, the clearo starts out as new again (theoretically).

Atomizers and cartridges are a step backward in technology, in my opinion. But you may like them. I prefer the systems that have less chance of leaking.

If you post a link to the first kit you were considering maybe somebody can suggest a few attachments to try from that site. You will have to actually try a few different things to see what fits you best. There is not one attachment that is perfect in all respects.

If I were starting out I'd skip on the atomizers and cartrages. The atomizers that typically come with those kits are the lowest grade you can get, and tend to leak. Not good for pocketability. I'd go with the Sweet-Vapes system you posted earlier.

For juice, I highly reccommend the juices that Sweet-Vapes makes.
You may want to start off with a 70pg/30vg blend. This is a very common mixture.
In general PG has more flavor and throat hit and is thinner making it easier to flow in a tank (wick) setup. VG has more vapor.
Some people react poorly to PG and have alergy problems with it, but most are fine with PG.

If you ever plan to put your PV in your pocket, I would add some standard resistance cartomizers to your order. They are easy tto fill, and you can easily keep a couple in your pocket for out-and-about travel. I hate carying around bottles of juice when I'm on the go.

Hello Deliag91,

The Ego-C Twist is what I'm using currently. Been vaping for about 2 months now. Started off with the Mistic from wal-mart and that got me off cigs pretty quickly then after about a week or two did some research (mostly here) and decided on the twist. I strongly recommend it for an entry level device, it hasn't let me down yet. A few things I might point out though from my experience, the little atomizer is kinda delicate (I ended up burning the wicks of 2 of em before I realized this) so be sure you're keeping the tanks semi-full and the wick wet. I think I ran outta juice while vaping at 4.8v lol, live and learn right? Also if you plan on taking it out and about with you a lot a carrying case is a good idea, I accidentally dropped mine while driving a fork-lift and needless to say it was dead on my first day. I'm actually looking into getting a 510 setup with a PCC for work (had to get 510's for my girlfriend as she found the ego size didn't feel like a cig). As far as vendors go I typically order my juice from cignot.com (got my kit there as well) they have incredible customer service and quality products. I like the mango and watermelon personally, but part of this adventure is finding out what works best for you and juice is a major part of that. So like others have suggested get small sample bottles (3ml-6ml) and find a flavor that you like. Also when trying different flavors keep in mind that if you're not using a fresh atomizer there will still be residue of the previous liquid on the wick so that taste takes a bit to go away. I vape 100% VG juice but it can be a bit thick. I just recently purchased a bunch of liquid from mtbakervapor.com, haven't received it yet but if it ends up being tasty they'll be my main source from now on due to their prices. Also the option to have 70% VG and 30% distilled water is a plus (thins it down a bit).

Edit: Sorry for the book lol almost forgot though, crystalclearvaping.com has a really good deal on 510 boge cartomisers they're 2.0 and 3.0 OHM resistance so you can use the twist to it's full potential and any order has free shipping!

Ok, this has probably been hammered into you already (I didn't read all 4 pages) but I give a thumbs up to the Twist (smoking it right this moment) and a Clearomizer. I see that Sweet-Vapes has the rebuildable clearomizers, which is cool, but that cost per replacement coild head... ouch. I'm definitely going to give a good go at cleaning mine first.

Generally the different delivery systems:
atomizer/ atty- an element- used for testing juices so you don't spoil a cartomizer with horrible juice
cartridge/ cart+ atty- cartridge has filler and is saturated with juice- juice drips on to atty
cartomizer/ carto- a metal tube with element and filler- juice from the saturated filler is vaped. Must be topped off occasionally
carto+tank- carto with a hole punched in it surrounded by a metal, glass or plastic tank that's filled with juice. Juice saturates the filler via the hole in carto
Clearomizer- wick+element in a plastic or metal tube with NO filler.

Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 10%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor, TH- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 70/30 PG/ VG.

@Razloz hanks for the info I will check out those sites. Also I have no clue about cartos and atomizers
