What flavors are you vaping? I got strong analog cravings when I tried vaping fruity/foody flavors in the first month or more. I had a peach flavor with little TH made me feel like I had eaten and craving an analog. So I just couldn't vape that alone - but I could mix it in a tobacco juice and make peach tobacco flavor and vape that with no problem. After 2 months I could definitely vape foody fruity flavors though I usually alternate them with tobacco flavor.

Re mornings - I have an extra battery and leave my PV set up overnight and ready to vape the second I get up. I also now use 2 PVs (510 and KR8, both with cartos) and I have an extra battery for each and leave them both set up overnight.

Juices - I have some all day vapes and some stronger tasting juices. Some of my stronger ones are FreedomSmokeUSA Desert Ship which is my most analog-alike juice. And Vapor4Life WOWbacco is a strong cocoa tobacco vape in a KR8 carto - I use a delrin drip tip on the carto so I can take nice hard drags when I need it without getting hot lips. In general, the KR8 with a fresh carto seems to be a hotter vape than 510 with a carto. The WOWbacco is a standard Boge 510 carto seems very gentle compared to it on the KR8. The WOW 555 is also a pretty strong flavor and TH on a KR8 (sweet though).

Re nicotine - I started on 18mg and now that I am on 12mg I find my nicotine cravings are less desperate. You might want to try some juices or hotter equipment that is stronger in your throat rather than using stronger nicotine when needy?

Like some are saying here they helped me also..I smoked full flavored cigs 2 pack a day and some snus, smoked for 35 years
also..I know exactly what you are going through believe me I do buddy, but with the support I got from older vets here

on the ECF they all got me through..by the way I cannot stand the smell of reg cigs any more I look at a clean ash tray In
which I always keep next to my chair when vaping is a reminder of the way it was...

agree with the rest here. dont hesitate to smoke an analog here and there if u just cant take it anymore. i smoked for 25 yrs and typically smoked 2 packs a day. i had 1 pack of analogs here and i admit i got weak and smoked the whole pack over the next 2 weeks. however i would of typically smoked that in 1/2 a day. in its own strange way it was good i smoked the pack i did. the stink got worse and worse. the taste got worse and worse and before it was all over i couldnt stand to take a puff without gagging. they were just awful. so as weird as it sounds a couple of analogs may be just what the dr ordered. you remember how wonderful those cigs were. but u will be surprised how drastically ur opinion will change once uve had just 1. maybe u could ask some one who smokes for one of theirs and see how it goes. but dont beat urself up over wanting a analog here and there. many ppl smoke for a while after they start vaping. u will get there.

So last Tuesday night I accidentally threw out my last pack of cigs. After tilting the recycle bin towards my car's headlights and digging thru the bin, it occurred to me that this was the act of a true addict. Or someone who was really cheap. Or both....

It was night and I decided to see if I could make it thru the night without an analog. A 2 pack a day smoker for 35 years, I made it thru the night. I decided to see if I could do the next day without an analog and I did. I've been without a real analog since then! I've been thinking throughout these days that it's been pretty easy.

But then I woke up this morning and I really really want a cigarette. I mean REALLY want a cigarette. I can't seem to shake it today. This is not a fleeting thought, it's a whole body got to have it right now want a cigarette feeling.

The thought of starting all over again makes me crazy. I feel so much better. Aside from having trouble sleeping, everything else is great. I'm perfectly happy vaping. I've been vaping 20-24mg all day and I up it to 36 when I think I need it like first thing in the am and sometimes late at night. But the last few days I hadn't needed to do that. I was doing great at the lower levels and was even thinking that I might be able to move it down soon and do away with the 36 all together. I did the 36 today but it doesn't seem to help.

I don't hack up a lung every morning. I don't go thru a 1/2 a box of kleenex in the morning. I'm not coughing all day. In general I feel better and haven't had the urge for a analog except for a thought here and there that goes away easily. But today......

I can't let myself slip only because I don't want to have to start over. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just 1 cig, but in order to get 1 I have to buy a pack. If I have a pack, the little demons in my brain say it's ok to have 2, and then why not 3 and then I'm back where I started.

This hit me out of the blue. I didn't expect it after a week. I feel like crying and hitting somebody. My body is shaking, which really surprises me because I thought that was a nicotine issue. The vaping takes care of the ritual part of the habit and the nicotine takes care of the drug part, but what takes care of this thing that's happening today? Is it my mind? Or is it my body missing the chemicals?

I have to go to the bank this afternoon and I don't want to pick up cigs on the way back.

Didn't have a plan for this....sigh.....

Did I say that I'm accountant and it's tax season on top of it all?

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL because I too had those massive uncontrollable cravings.. and when I did, I smoked one. I never really guilt-tripped about it because it was already enough of an achievement greatly reducing the amount I smoked. If you're losing your mind, maybe you should just smoke one. Just don't get sucked back to the trap, because cigarettes are without a doubt a Trap. Or maybe get one of those naaasty prime-time singles or a blacknmild. If you buy a pack.... you're gonna smoke 'em all. This may be very bad advice though since I don't know your exact situation and tendencies so just think it through and do what you gotta do.

if you can't get rid of the craving then get a big carto and fill it with dragon wee, the blood of a virgin will suffice if you can't find a dragon in your area.
Vape it and your cravings will dissapear just like my sanity.

Now if your tastes don't run towards dragon wee or the blood of a virgin, you might want to consider one of the smokeless tobacco products that are available. Swedish Snus, one of the lozengers or strips. These have been shown to also help with those cravings for the missing MAIOs that are found in tobacco but not in e-juice.

I'm not saying to go out and buy a pack. Do what you can to avoid it, but don't be miserable. If you absolutely can't stop yourself, then have a smoke and go back to vaping. You might find that trying that cigarette makes you sick and you won't want another one. As time goes by that need will eventually go away, but stressing out about it is only going to make it worse.

This, completely.
The first week I vaped I still smoked between 2 and 5 cigs a day. Eventually I didn't want the cigarettes, I just smoked them because the vape wasn't killing the craving, and admitted it was just addiction.

Over time, that addiction (to chemicals other than nicotine) weaned away when I was only smoking 2 cigs a day or less the 2nd week, and finally, I just didn't want one. At some point in my 2nd week I had a cig and stubbed it out after only a few puffs because it was just gross. Then later I tried again, and realized I didn't get that good feeling generally associated with "satisfying" the craving. I can only assume this is because I was already getting my nic, and I was weaned off the other stuff at this point. After that I threw out all my smoking gear and haven't had a cig since.

Occasionally (during high stress generally), the craving for a smoke will kick in a bit, but it goes away.

If you are like me, I cannot have 1 cig

One means another, and another means a pack and in an incredibly short period of time of "cheating" I am back to full blown smoking.

I am like an alcoholic, I cannot have even 1 cig

I used to be like that before e-cigs. Now, I can take 'em or leave 'em. Really, I'd prefer to not have to have one, but I can if I'm forced to.

I still sometimes want "what's missing" from vaping... but i also really want to not smoke ever again.

This is where Swedish snus comes in for me. Every now and then (it may be weeks in between), I use a snus packet or two. General mini mints are nice and fairly easy to come by where cigar and pipe tobacco is sold. It really hits the spot for me and there's no smoke.

It takes about 3 weeks, to establish new habits and routines. So, having the craving for an analog is natural. For the first week with a PV, I smoked and vaped alternately. Once my analogs ran out, I went a week on just vapor. I felt like there was something missing (our memories of analogs are like old girlfriends, we remember all the nice things, and gloss over the bad times). So, I had an analog, and it tasted awful, bitter and toxic. I still got those cravings for about a month on just vapor, and reminded myself each time of that cigarette, intentionally focusing on the negatives. So far, so good, haven't gone back.

Good Luck, the path for each of us is different. I'm sure you will find your way.

There's no such thing as too much... stop when it makes you barf.

This I've been worrying about too. I'm on my first day with Zero analogues. Yesterday I had one and the day before two. Today I'm having the same problem the OP had. Up until yesterday I still had a few analogues I carried around in case I couldn't take it but I'm totally out today and have already chain vaped through 3 Joye 510's even with a few drops of TH+ added and the craving for an analogue is giving me a headache. I think I'm one of those that will have to keep an emergency pack on hand like a security blanket =\

Sit down and have the cigarette. Think about how it makes you feel. Are you really relieved? Is it really the taste that you have been missing? Was it really worth the drive to the shop and burning the $6? Odds are it wasn't as good as you thought it was going to be.
Write down how that one cigarette made you feel. This might make you remember during the next anxiety attack that having a cig is not the solution.

Aside from having trouble sleeping...

You must be one of those people that nic keeps your mind going. Try cutting your nic back to 24mg or lower around bed time and keep everything else the same, especially that 36mg in the morning since it seems like it wakes you up and kicks the nic fit.
I was the same way when I was vaping 24mg all day until I realized why I couldn't sleep and now I dial it back to 12mg a couple of hours before I go to bed.

I go from 24 to 6 when I get home from work. Works for me.
