Well i paid way too much for these but they did get me off analogs, Im moving on to a tanked e-power now,
but for ****s and giggles would like to know exactlly just what these batteries and carts are...

Are they 808's ?

Any mods i can do to them? to get longer bat life or more voltage?
maybee put the bat adapter in a radioshack plastic hobby box with some rechargeables?

heres a couple pics of the unit and threads.... the battery is a little over 80mm long and carto is 35mm long, diameter about 9mm

It could be 808 threading, but theres also a chance that it could be one of those weird threadings thats not compatible with anything.

As far as trying to get the batteries to last longer or provide a higher voltage, thats a very bad idea. I HIGHLY recommend you do not try messing with the batteries. Your asking to have a battery explode/catch fire trying to do something like that

They look just like the threading on my 808's. And if the plastic top will come off of the top of that carto, you can get some e juice and refill it.

Ya , ive cleaned and boiled out a bunch of cartos from these, waiting on my gorilla juice to get here so i can refill them, this will tide me over till my e-power gets here.

I was thinking more of ditching the batteries from these but just using there threaded battery connections to put in a radioshack hobby box or something and using 3 rechargeable batteries (would be roughly 3.6v) and build a diy box mod, but this would probablly just be a waste of time, im just a tinkerer and diy nut

I was at the mall the other day and talked to the guys at the kiosk. They always get a kick out of my equipment when I stop in.

Their 808 model (though grossly overpriced) is actually a really decent unit. The vapor production was pretty impressive and even their shorty batts run at 3.7v under load, but they don't offer XL batteries.

They are also carrying a 1300mah ego tank kit now for $200 (yikes) and offered to sell me 1 battery for $49.95. It is still more than I want to pay for a single battery, but they do offer a lifetime warranty on it so in retrospect, it's not that bad of a deal.

I have seen some kiosks carrying really crappy stuff, but I was somewhat happy to know that this kiosk at least is selling a decent unit that isn't going to drive potential users away. They do cost more there as the kiosks run from $3000-8000/mo for rent, plus overhead and commissions.

I'm still happy to order online, but it's nice to know that in addition to a retail store in the area, I have the kiosk as an option in an emergency.

Why not spring for some blank KR808 cartomizers and see if they fit? That'll easily help you to figure out whether it's a standard 808 or not.

Ya, i thought about it, but have about 30 spent ones that ill clean, boil, n reuse, im sure by the time these cartos are bad the batteries will be. too, then ill just take it apart for hell of it, i will only be using them for another. few days till the epower. gets here, then ill give em to my gf who only vapes a few hits a day.... was just curious if anyobe does any mods w these when they step up from noobyland

Make sense if you've got something on the way. Let me know how you like your epower :D
