I got my 2 kits + a slew of clearos in today. They are working well. Funny thing is, these things are just as big around as the Smokeless Image X2 and slightly shorter. I'll pick up another couple of them soon. These things are working out great.
So the Revolvers are doing good? I think I'm getting one for Christmas, but so far I've been disappointed with that vendor.
1/4-mm is barely visible to the naked eye. The difference between my X2 and iGo is about more like the difference between the diameter of a penny and a dime.If it is, then it's not much a difference at all. Like maybe 1/4 a mm. Just put them end to end and there was very little difference, if any at all.

The good thing is that the owner is very helpful on his suppliers forum here. That's always an added bonus. SI is totally missing the boat on this one.
When I put them end to end I just think "is there a difference in size, I can't tell. Maybe a little". But it is still amazing to me that it is actually shorter in length than my 650 mah x2.
Cool. My wife was asking me the other day if I wanted one of these and I told her yes. Might be using it by next week.
I should say my disappointment with Nhaler is due to not liking the two items I bought from them. Nothing wrong with the company, but they're the only ones I haven't liked a product from yet.
How are the clearos that come with them? Are they CE5 or mini Nova clones?
And it would be great if Mad Vapes sold these. Heck, at this point I'd be happy with an 808/901 superstore. I'm paying nearly $20.00 in shipping every two weeks.
Yeah, plus he seems pretty respected in the community, and has had some real good high end stuff (like the Darwin) and AFAIK is the only one selling the Opus. He's also involved in CASAA and a local business, which I always try to support.
SI is great for entry level stuff. I think I saw on one of their thread they aren't planning on offering VV, I guess they want to stick to KISS. I can respect it somewhat because it seems that they can assure people will have a pretty good vape with their stuff. I only tried one of their liquids, but it's one of my favs, and it vapes great at 3.4-V on SR cartos. Once I got VV I found that some of the liquids I had just didn't vape well until you could tune the voltage and/or use LR heads with them. So for entry level people it's kind of nice there'a a place like SI where they don't have to think they're too stupid to get a good vape.
NHaler has the Revolver in both iGo and Echo models, which is what this thread is about. You're right, SI have said no plans to make a vv X2. So who is the vendor for the vv 808 you picked up? I know some people who would be interested, especially as they could still use their 8080 cartos and T3s.

There's also the Dial-A-Volt by V4L (Which appears to be an Echo style battery, but with a manual button) and the Fury by CigEasy.
That's it for Twist/Spinner clones. V4L also has the Gripper, which is eitner re-branded or a clone of the samemod by MadVapes.
I just got my kit yesterday in the mail as way, just before I was about to hop into the car and go away for the night to a friends Xmas part. I'm very happy with it, I'm pretty new to vaping, so the Volt X2 was my previous number 1 PV. The 1300mAh battery is actually about a 1/2" shorter than my 1100mAh X2, and slightly larger diameter.
I got home a few hours ago, charged it to full capacity and just threw it on my Voltmeter and Osilliscope to see the numbers. I tested voltages at each marked setting 3.3, 3.8, 4.3 and 4.8V with a variety of Resistances.
First with no head (infinite resistance) the voltage was straight DC until I got to 4.3V where it showed a sawtooth. Voltage was a little below the setting 3.14V at 3.3, 3.51V at 3.8 ... DC reading on the voltmeter was 4.29V at 4.3 amd 4.86V at 4.8 settings.
I then tested the different voltages with 2.5, 2.9 and 3.5 ohm heads and the voltages were consistent throughout. (I didn't have a LR Clearo setup, so I didn't check that.)
Basically with any resistance the voltage under load was very consistent, and the signal was flat DC under load as well.
Setting Voltage 3.3 3.07 3.8 3.46 4.3 4.05 4.8 4.66
Those are basically the averages I got for voltages but there was very small variation, I'll attribute it more to the analogness of the voltage dial than the circuit not being able to provide the power. So basically the true range is something like 3.0 to 4.7 V
The dial actrually goes just a bit past 4.8V, and stops dead on 3.3 at the low range. I tested it at the max range and it doesn't push past 4.67V.
All in all I'm very happy with it.
I was interested in the one the OP talked about (first post). Revolver iGO/808 battery.
Seems to get more accurate at the higher voltages. Appears less accurate than an Ego twist, from reviews I read of that. ? On the plus side, its not firing higher than set so shouldn't be any problems with that. Thanks for taking the time to put it through its paces.
