I recently purchased a volcano e-cig. I love the concept and the first day or two it was adequate. Now I feel like I have to have the suction of a vaccum cleaner to even get a decent hit. From reading the threads it seems I need to upgrade. However, I don't want to spend a lot of money and still walk away dissatisfied and give up on vaping as oppose to smoking. I'm interested in the nicotine hit and somewhat of a throat kick. I've tried adding e-liquid 24 mg to boost it and nothing but a headache from pulling so hard. I love smoking but I want to love vaping more

I have a volcano and had the same problems when I first started using it (after a couple of days) One trick I learned was that you don't want to take a hard drag, you will get less hit and vapor. Take very lite, slow long drags, just enought to lite the LED and see if this helps. It is not like smoking an analog, so you will have to adjust your hit a little. Also clean your atty, at least blow it out into a paper towel.

Haven't used a blu or a volcano so definitely not a basher of these models. I'm however a regular basher of the 510. The atty and battery(non mod) is a joke. I never got an atty to work at 90%-100% for more than 2-3 days. The first impressions, i must admit is great but it goes downhill way too fast. Perhaps well fitted for a disposable model imo.

I still recommend an M401/2 or an M602 if you want a more powerful battery and atty.

I don't have a M401/2 or an M602 so I can't comment. If I dry burn my 510's I can keep them like new where I can't tell a difference between my new and older ones.

The original batteries are bad with a 510 I have to agree with that. The batteries will last only an hour or so. The ego is a different story.

I have a Blu / Vocano also and it is the coolest thing to hold and or look at. The size is perfect. It was my first PV.

I was very disapointed when I first got it though. The factory juice is not very good for throat hit or vapor. I allmost chucked it back in the box thinking that it was a scam.

But after reading some threads on e-juice I bought a bottle of VG Base cherry from American eJuice. The difference was night and day. Huge vaper and a great taste. If you like Cherry that is.

The problem with Blu is that unless you were a 2 or 3 cigarette smoker before you got it, it's just doesn't have enough juice capacity or battery life for most people. Seems like the darn batteries always need charging and the carts need filling.

Diffinately take the atomizer off the battery and give it a good cleaning.

But before you spend any more money on Blu cartidges or another atomizers, check out what other member have to say about the Joye 510. It is a much better unit in every aspect and you can use it for either with an atomizer or use cartomizers.

I still like my Blu and I do smile when I use it sometimes. But it is more of a toy now that I have a 510.

You can pick up a screwdriver dse 905 for $56 shipped here. StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop!

I have a 905.
It isn't a Screw Driver.

While it's not a horrible PV. It's very much not the best.
Also, they're dangerous because of the stupid board glitch where they go into "cleaning mode" and decide to try to catch you on fire.
