HELP! Jammed BeautyRing...

So ive got a Kanger Subtank (Full size) and ive always been carefull with not screwing the beauty ring on too tight.

However it seems to be jammed on there now, i cant get it off the tank.

now im a pretty big guy with a considerable grip and brute force just isnt working!

Anyone got any suggestions?​

Have the same problem quite often. honestly, try a damp towel. less force on the grip more available for the turn. works every time. Hope it helps

You need to throw a couple of thermal extremes at it to see if the parts will un-seize:

Try putting in the freezer for a couple hours. Work with it fast once you take it out as the heat from your hands will bring it back up to room temperature quickly.

If that doesn't work you may need to go in the other direction and soak the base in some really hot water. You will probably lose any liquid - or at least it won't be vapable - in the process if water gets in there. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Sometimes a small thick rubber band, like the kind they hold a bunch of asparagus with will help your grip. Double it over if it's too big.

I use rubber gloves from Harbor freight. The cheap surgical ones that come in boxes of 100. Works every time.
