I dont know what to do since there are so many options and brands, parts, etc.

What I am looking for is just something I can get my so needed nic fix easily and quickly!
My state has made it a financial and social nightmare to smoke cigs.
RYO tobacco has a 24 dollar tax per pound now!!
I'm not looking to switch to e-caogs for flavor or pleasure, just nicotine fixes on demand.
So we need a better way to get our nicotine here at my house.
I dont care about dripping or whatever. I just want to drag and get nic satisfied.
I cant be charging something every hour, wouldnt be to feasable at home on the farm or at work, factory work not office.

So whats good for the suck and feel better scenario thats easy to grab and shove in the mouth so you dont kill anyone?

Can you help out and keep it simple please? ~blushes~
All the post I have read for the last several hours has me totally dumb founded as I dont understand anything and get more confused the more I read. I dont know what to buy or where to even start!
I just fear buying something and getting ripped off. We dont have a lot of money to afford a rip off. I was going to buy from smoking everywhere till I read here not too!

Thanks for any input.

Smoking Everywhere is pretty much a rip off price wise. Its basically $100 an e-cig. You can get two 510 e-cigs for $55 with fast shipping or even $26 if you order from china and are willing to wait a couple weeks. That price includes two 510s, a charger and 5 cartridges. $13 per e-cg as opposed to $100 from smoking everywhere. Pretty much any of the models people talk about on here will help you, but since battery life is an issue, you should consider one of the more expensive mods like the Janty Stick or Silver bullet. It puts the price back up to around the price of smoking everywhere, but you have way more battery power. I havent tried any of those yet, but I imagine they are excellent. If you can find away to charge your batteries every few hours, or if you buy a bunch of extra batteries, go with the 510.

And while you are just looking for your nic fix and dont care about taste and everything else, you will probably find that the taste and enjoyment of these products is excellent, and superior to real cigarettes.

To keep it simple for you, I would like to recommend a vapor king. They have 2 parts, a battery..you can get the longer one so there is less time between charges or the shorter battery that goes in a pocket type charger PCC (you charge the case at home and then you can use the case to charge your battery during the day without plugging into anything.) It's about the size of a 100's cigarette pack.
Then the second piece is a cartomizer. That's the filter tip and atomizer built together. No dripping, no anything, you can refill a couple of times but to make it last longer but you don't have to. Those carts last anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours depending on how much you vape.
East mall from China carries one type, Vapor4 life carries them too and has the longer battery, and Nhaler is another supplier who carries them. All of those suppliers can be found on the main page of this forum in the suppliers section
Hopefully others have some suggestions for you.
Welcome to ECF!:)

Thank you both!

Madness008, taste stopped being an issue when a carton of cigs went over 50 bucks a lomg while back, now they are a lot more, and with 2 people going through a carton a week we switched to RYO.
Then the state hit RYO and we are now smoking the cheapest RYO tobacco we can get that taste like total junk and we crush dried mint leaves in it just so we can tolerate it. But its the only way we can get that nic fix without going in the poor house. Heck its 70 bucks a week to smoke total gut rot for 2 people!
As of next summer our state is banning smoking so, at work, no more.
At least if on break and lunch we can go to the car and hit a e-cig, we may make it through a day!
And I really want to get rid of the gut rot smokes. They make me feel sick all the time. Nasty things.

MaryKay, Thank you!!! I understand your post!!!:D
VK is one I was thinking of but not sure just because this is a scary step to decide what to buy when this is all new to me. I just heard about e-cigs 3 days ago and I dont know anyone that has tried it. I will be the first. ~bites nails~

I found cignot! I like they have the VG juice. I dont like shopping online and prefer to get everything from one place.
Cignot has VG, the places that sell VK dont have VG juice.

The 510 has a pcc too.
I think I am leaning toward the 510.
I like plain and unnoticeable. VK is to flashy.
I dont think VK cost more if you need more bats with the 510.
I havent done the math yet.
Still comparing. :)

I worry about the 510 needing more batts and more charging.
But I really hate the looks of the VK and that the sites that sell it dont have VG juice.

Decisions... ~ pulls hair out~

Im curious as to how much the cartridges cost on the VK because I hear its not a great devise for refilling......you pretty much have to buy new cartridges......or cartimizers. Cartridges are pretty expensive compared to refilling with liquid typically, and the VK carts come with an atomizer built in to each one. I dunno though, Im a n00b. 510 is a safe bet I think. Mine is in the mail. Should arrive tomorrow along with an assortment of juices.

Hey! Thanks for thinking about that!!!!
Thats a money eater and your right.
VK is 12.50 for 5
At cignot its 3 for 5 bucks.
And I want vg juice not pg.
Looks like I have to go with 510's to get the vg juice choices.

Just FYI, "smooth pipe tobacco" is RYO tobacco that's cut to pass inspection as pipe tobacco. It's often the same exact blends of tobacco.

I did the RYO thing for 6 months after readymade taxes went up yet again, and I had no problem with tobaccos from D&R (Daughters & Ryan). You can get 14 ounces (enough for 2 cartons) for under $30.

But I made the switch to vaping last week, and I don't miss my handmade unfiltered analogs at all. I've tried a couple since I started vaping, and they already stink to me.

Having used both the VK and the 510, one thing I can tell you is the VK cartos last much longer then the 510 carts - and with the 510 carts you will be dripping on the atty or topping off carts all day to get any throat hit or flavor at all - that adds to the cost. And VK cartos are extremely easy to refill by the way.

But yeah, if you want the vg juice, the 510 is the one you will have to go with. Although V4L will be getting vg juice in hopefully after the Chinese New Year.

Good luck with whatever you end up getting! ;)

I am a newbie at this and was in the same boat ..What to Buy

I bought the Vapor King and Have been using it since Sunday and I love it
I have smoked for 32 years at 2 plus packs a day At the end of yesterday I have only smoked 7 analogs ..what a difference it makes

As Jen said the carts are easy to refill and the ease of use is great with the VK only 2 peices and Steve at vapor 4 life is the best with his customers ....I guess its what you prefer .... I just didnt want to hassle with a 3 peice unit and all the things to go along with the 510

Good Luck with what ever you decide

I'm a newbie too, I have the 510 and have tried nothing else so I can't compare. I lurked here and read til my head was spinning! Finally someone said...just do it! I jumped in and went with the 510 basic kit from cignot. $35 is not too much to lose. I did buy an additional bottle of vg. The point is, I think you will be pleasantly surprized at how much you will like an e-cig. Once you've jumped in you can fine tune your needs and wants!
Happy Vaping

We can get brands we want locally. All we can get is a generic yuk and we just got the cheaper pipe/dual cut and its rough and evil!
It saves money but it fries our lungs and throat.
I am sick of cheap, rough and nasty tasting tobacco.
I haven't enjoyed a cig since our state did the first tax increase at the beginning of the year and after the second increase, on top of the feds increase, smoking is not a pleasure at all with this cheap gut rot.

We want to get rid of burning tobacco and get nic in a less nasty way.

We decided to go with the 510.
Refilling carts isnt a big deal to us since we are always RYO since we dont make up cigs in quantity. We roll as we go. We also smike less that way.
We can refill as we go too! :)
I'll be sure to get extras and a pcc too.
And that VG juice is a big want for me.
So the 510 won! :D

Its also 2 sets we need to buy because there are 2 people here.
So that makes it more money.

I just hope after all is bought and extras are here, this will be a nice change from RYO nasties that we smoke out of pure desperation.

I would rather have no flavor than the flavor from hell.

Thnaks everyone!!!!

I am about to find out how cignot is.
I just placed my order!!!!:D

I purchsed the special with the pcc. 2 of them for myself and my mate.
I bought extra empty carts and vg juice.
I bought exra batts.
The car charger too! My mate will need that most likely.

It was 200 bucks for the two of us but I hope I wont have to buy anything else but juice for awhile.
If it works out that way then we may save money fairly quick.
