Another thing that may just be correlation rather than causation. I had the first of two major hip surgeries in Feb 2017. I lost my voice due to vocal cord damage during anesthesia.

I started experimenting with DTL vaping in May 2017 and within weeks my voice was almost normal.

Now, I'm able to yell at the kids, the wife and the stupid referees on TV again all because of 40-ish Watt vaping and not smoking.

Stats show the IQ's of people are getting lower and lower, I wonder why.? Because people actually waste their time watching something like that and thinking it's something they might want to do....next there will be liquid eye squirting comps

I guess you can call a certain aspect of vaping a hobby, like the rebuilding part, but the way it's going isn't or shouldn't be a hobby. Vaping should simply be a way to eliminate cigarettes as it was intended. I just feel that an addiction should not be something glorified in such a manor as competitions, that just seems very strange....

Freedom means being able to do silly, pointless, ridiculous, or even stupid things, provided it doesn't hurt other people or damage their property. I have absolutely zero desire to be a human fog machine myself, but it that's what floats somebody's boat, who are we to tell them that they shouldn't?

@vapdivrr I respect your opinion but disagree. Whether we like it or not vaping has grown beyond simply being a smoking cessation tool. Many new vapers were not smokers and they aren't addicted to vaping, it is literally just a hobby. Some are finding vaping useful for other things such as weight loss. Vaping is also being considered as a delivery system for some supplements such as vitamin b12.

@shnnn - I've used the following, and IMO any of them fit your requirements: MTL, decent capacity, drop-in above ohm coils available for them, provide good flavor

SubTank Mini
TopTank Mini
T18
T2

ETA: Forgot about mentioning any mods.
(1) The Council of Vapor Mega Volt 80W Mod - It's sort of small, and it's got an internal battery. The company has a decent reputation, too, for making good products. Several people have mentioned them very favorably on the Tootle Puffer thread.
(2) The Innokin Endura T22 Starter Kit - Has 2000mAh internal battery, and comes with the T22 tank mentioned above already. Maximum wattage is 14W, but if you want to MTL above 1.0ohm (1.2 is the minimum resistance for it), it'll do fine. There are also several people who have posted very favorable comments about it. Innokin has an excellent reputation, IMO, and I've always had great experiences with anything by them.

I agree. If people want to put on pants that slide down to their .... crack, wear ridiculous t-shirts and snapback caps in an homage to the "gangster/I never studied" look and blow large clouds while listening to bad rap music (as though there were any other kind) - I say more power to them. Besides, having them be in one place it makes them easier to track in case we ever need to dart them and harvest an illegal kidney.

I'm not telling anyone what they can or can't do, I just simply think it's silly, just my opinion. I'd still rather them do that if it keeps them from smoking

I went from subohm back to mtl almost 2 years ago. I use 28g kanthal and build around .9 to 1.1 ohms depending on which atty I’m using. Keep in mind I use 14mm and 16mm attys.. that’s how I get that nice warmth and flavor.. on a bigger atty I’d probably have to use 26g. It takes some time to adjust but you will.

Personally I prefer TC, so that pretty much means the coils are going to be sub ohm. That said, TC doesn't have to mean huge clouds or tons of juice consumption.

No, the reason why is because we have all but eliminated "natural selection" and the low IQ people tend to have kids at like a 2:1 rate of average IQ people and 4:1 rate of high IQ people. This is causing the average IQ to drop. It doesn't help that many kids that do have higher IQ's have become so lazy and unwilling to use what they have that they appear to have low IQ's.

Hey y’all,
I’ve been vaping MTL using a sub-ohm device for a few years now, and am looking to make a change.
My usual set-up is a either a cleito tank or a silo beast tank and a Eleaf 200w PV. I usually use .5 coils and vape at around 34 Watts with the airflow screwed down pretty tight.

Lately it’s been hard on my lungs to vape this way, and I race through juice, but when I try to go back to my old low-wattage aspire tanks, the flavor and vapor production feel so weak.

I haven’t been keeping up with all the new styles and devices, so i’m hoping for recommendations.

I like to keep it simple and prefer large tanks, pre-built coils, and built-in batteries as opposed to full mods.

Any pointers would be appreciated. My silo beast tank is actually still going strong, but my PV has been dropped tons of times and is really due for replacement.

Since you’re doing alright with that eleaf, it will be fine for your mtl tanks but if you want something smaller I suggest the eleaf ipower 80. Even the istick 30w work fine for me with my plus ohm tanks, but that 80 assures plenty of power. I’m impressed with how long it goes between charging.

I think vaping is in a phase right now where there is a ton to pick from in the mtl RBA category, but a good deal of the drop ins are sub ohm dl.

The older aspires seem like a good bet. I have a few that I can still get coils for without too much hassle, the K1 is smaller but it’s my hands down favorite. I have a naughty x too, which holds a bit more juice but I’ve never been in love with it.

It’s just the nature of the beast, subohm = more vapor = more flavor. I don’t chase clouds, and I do both mtl and dl. I will say this, RBAs offer more flavor regardless of the draw type. If you ever considered building, now is a good time to find mtl RTAs. The Vandy Vape Berserker is the one I have, but I’m sure the same can be said of many others, all the flavor with less clouds with mtl draw at your choice of ohms.

I'm with @vapdivrr in that the cloud chasin' crowd looks like a bunch of idiots.

I'm also with @Letitia and @Rossum in that if these idiots don't mind looking like idiots they ought to be allowed to do so.

BUT... I also think @HauntedMyst has the right idea. Keeping idiots together is a good thing. Brussels has a red light district for a very good reason.

In the "what happened to Kanger" thread, I pointed out that the versatility of the Subtank and Toptank line allowed for both DTL and MTL by making a few relatively cheap and easy adjustments either way. If you're torn between the two methods, there are few better options than a Toptank. I'm all DTL now, but it would take me ten minutes to covert a TTM to a cigalike vape.
