A friend purchased an e-cig kit at a market and used it for nearly 6 months. The battery died and I have been trying to find a replacement for him. The battery is the "901 style", but different dimensions. The TOTAL length of the battery is 60.7 mm( 67.5 for 901) and the diameter is 8.55 mm( 9.28 mm for 901). The diameter of the battery male threaded connector is 6.7 mm( 7.75 for 901). The e-cig is a 3 piece unit with the words "E-Cigarette" on the atomizer end of the unit. So, anyone know which battery this is?

Got a picture? It might help a lot more than dimensions only.

That skinny? e-Health or M402 is my guess or something similar. Male battery? And does a painted part of the atomizer show after you cover the steel part of the atomizer with the tan cart? I have seen variations where there is no painted section of the atomizer too.

Alternately could be E8 but with an atomizer. (Chinese wholesaler stuff)

IMO - consider it your first mistake and move on. It was worth it to show you that ecigs can work for you. I started on M402 and M401 too for the first 3 weeks and spent a ton, and then upgraded to more supported slightly thicker slim ecigs (Joye 510 manual and KR808D-1 manuals like Vapor4Life and SmokelessImage) which I happily use with cartomizers.

Yes, male battery. Yes, the painted part does show after you cover the steel part with the tan cart.

It was not my mistake...the battery belongs to a friend and he asked me to try to find him a new battery despite my recommendations. I use a DSE 901 and Joye 510.

e-Health, a $10 Chinese ecig or one of the M's (M401 is the longest, M402, M03 the shortest and auto only)

See LiteCigUSA.net if you want to see/try an M40x battery. Not guaranteeing it will work with your charger - I don't know if eHealth and M40x models are exactly the same threads, nor if they are the same electrical polarity (if not, then one's charger will fry the other's battery). I recommend you get a manual battery - at least slightly less likely to be killed by ejuice leaks. May or may not fit but that is my guess. There may be better photos at MyPVShop.com

Compare the photos first - the Chinese make lots of clones that look like other models and and even if something looks identical, it may not have exactly the same threads or polarity. So it's a bit of a crapshoot.

Not even close Zoidman. Male battery 8.55mm diam w/ external atty w/ a short painted part not covered by tan cart. We narrowed it down to e-Health or M402 (very similar if not identical to each other)

You right.

I was thinking Male Atty. That and many "Carded" e-Cig that are sold in Markets and Gas Stations are RN4081.

Guess I don't win the Dead Battery Prize.
