Recently i tried to quit smoking again. I still live at home, and smoke in my room all day long. Where my girlfriend sleeps aswell. When shes asleep im smoking. And i dont want to keep harming her health and smell bad all the time.

So i promised to quit, but simply said i dont want to ( for my own reasons, just for her ) and im a weak person i guess..

I found out about e-cigs. And got really excited. Googled alot on " best ecig " " top 10 best ecigs " . And like most newbs, i ended up with the greensmoke. ( Alot of this has to do with the bad webdesigns other ecig companies do. They do not seem realiable because of their huge lack of design. ) maybe thats just me, a webdesigner issue.

Im pretty happy with the greensmoke. The vapor seems nice, tastes nice and and the look is good. But its pretty expansive and the cartridge goes down fast.

I have no knowledge of any brands or products but im looking for a product matching this description ( The amount of * behind a value means how important it is for me:

- Analog look / size *****
- Price **
- Self refill ***
- Normal inhale ( not like greensmoke PUFFFF PUFFFF ) ****
- No weird textures/lights. I dont want to smoke a lightsaber. ****

Does anyone know what my dream ecig would be?

Thanks in advance.

*PS. I know alot of you want to scream EGOOOO at me, ive seen it in many posts :p But for now as a starter i want something that gives me the feeling im smoking an analog cig. In the future, i might switch over. Unless im forever happy with the analog looking one.

I would say go with either a kr808d-1 or joye 510. Either one is going to get you the cigarette look and feel and plenty of market support. The 510 is the most popular of the two. If you enjoy vaping without hitting a button, you could go with an automatic battery. If you want a hit similar to a cigarette, you are going to have to step up to an ego or riva.

Think i said it wrong. I dont want to quit getting my nicotine. I want to quit normal smoking. I have no problem using ecigs for the past 2 days i actually like it alot.

Another thing which i do not like about the ego is that i just want something that looks normal. Instead of standing outside of my school with a black pipe in my mouth :p.

OK so you do not care at all about battery life obviously

Manual (MANUAL!!!!) Joye 510 and use it with Boge standard resistance cartos you fill yourself
180mah batteries so that is about 1.8 hours of moderate vaping
See Cignot.com Joye 510 no-box
The PCC at NoSMokeVA.com is very nice for standard 510 batteries.
If you can have a charger at work and the PCC when out you may not screw up and be caught batteriless. (I keep a PT at work and one at home just in case I screw up, and carry a charged 750mah Riva 510 battery with me when out as a backup)

If you can stand longer, the Joye 510 MANUAL mega xl (128mm long w/ a carto) - you will need to shop around to find a kit. 280mah for 60% longer battery charge.

MANUAL 510 batteries are sealed on the threaded end so very safe from getting killed by juice leaks, easier dragging - the button does the work of keeping vapor flowing and you can press it in 1-1.5 seconds before you start your drag. Will not accidentally turn on in wind or vibration. Also you can drip on the atty w/ a driptip - a popular method of trying juices and some like to vape that way (only recommended on manual batteries)

Boge standard res cartos and 80pg/20vg juice (or 70pg/30vg if you don't mind the cartos possibly degrading a bit faster)

I would not want to make it look like a cigarette - I prefer people to know I am not smoking. But if you want it to look like a cig, buy a white kit with red LED and this place carries the tan standard resistance Boges (few places carry tan - mostly black)
http://www.nitelitevapor.us/shop/ar...rs-by-BOGE.html?shop_param=cid=33&aid=48.001&

Cartomizers are a disposable item though a few are successful with cleaning/drying and at least partial reuse success. If used with thin no-sediment juices I can get over a week of good use out of Boge carto and since I alternates 2 that is more like 2-3 weeks. The one I am currently vaping is on its 6th week but that is an extreme case and it is no longer performing its best.

Yeah, go with a 510, 401, or KR808D-1. Just remember that small batts don't last. Many vapers who depend on minis keep 4 batteries and use them all throughout the day. To avoid that, you get the folks (like the first response on this thread) that can say nothing but "get an eGo".

You want a mini, so get a mini. The models I mentioned are the three most popular types of minis. 401 has the most flavor, 510 is the most compatible with parts and mods, KR808D-1 is... I forget but they do have a solid following.

To your (and your girlfriend's) health! :toast:

I go along with what everyone else said- a nice KR808 or a 510. You can find parts easily for both and if you check the Supplier forum you can probably pick one up pretty cheap. Save you money for some good juice! If you decide you like vaping you can always pick up something bigger, but they are both a good choice. Just get it from a registered supplier.

Welcome to vaping!

no that is 1.8 hours of moderate use - like maybe a 1/2 cig's worth of drags over every 10-15 minutes? or maybe one cig's worth for me since I take small drags? . Like I am a light to moderate vapor most of the time and I can sometimes get 3 hours out of a small 510 battery. If I start sucking on it alot, then no. if I am busy and vape very lightly, maybe even 4 hours. If I alternate between vaping it and vaping my KR808D-1 then the batteries last longer. One reason I vape 2 ecigs is to have 2 flavors to pick up. The other reason is so the batteries last longer since I am vaping each less. That way a 180mah battery and a 280mah battery together sometimes last me the whole work day unless I am overdoing the vaping. But you may burn through the charge more quickly judging by your PUFF PUFF PUFF comment.

How many hours did you get w/ greensmoke and how long was the whole greensmoke w/ carto on it? 120mm? or shorter? If your Greensmoke was 120mm then it was 280mah, the battery charge of a Joye 510 mega xl. If the Greensmoke was shorter then it was 180mah, same as standard 510. Does that help? Which length was your assembled Greensmoke and how long did one battery last you? That should be an indicator of how long the 510 batteries will last you.

They have some MAX batts or whatever they are calling them now. Basically longer 510 style batteries that provide about 1.5 times the duration of the originals.

They have PCCs that are basically a cigarette pack size battery that allows you to carry and charge your batteries at the same time. I don't think the MAX ones fit in there though......double check.

I realize you said you don't care too much about charging. You will eventually go out for 5-6 hours or be in a place that doesn't provide access to electricity. Have backups!

ye im looking at the 808 models atm tryng to see which company has the best ones. Bloogs seems rlly nice! Saw on youtube i had to watch out with picking one since alot of them dont have original batteries or something like that.

Anyone got a brand they recommend? Maxxfusion? And how long can i use 1 cartridge with one of these? the 400 puffs a cartridge fooled me into buying the greensmoke but im pretty shocked to discover alot of people saying its normal to use 1 cartridge per 6 cigs!

The Volt -- see post above yours.

how long a filled cartridge or cartomizer will last depends on the type of cartridge or cartomizer being used, how much e-liquid was in it in the first place, how often one vapes, and how long of a drag they take each time...

in general, types like greencig's prefilled won't last very long at all.

I started with Green Smoke, too. I decided to go with an eGo after all.

I don't know if this is allowed or not, but I have a classified ad up that will match all of the stuff for your Green Smoke. Only $36 for a bunch of stuff. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-prefilled-cartos-usb-charger-greensmoke.html

I thank GreenSmoke for showing me the possibilities of e cigs. They got me started, and they are basically a good company, just overpriced, but, if you like them, you can get supplies for them at Vaporkings. I am not affiliated in any way with Vaporkings, just a happy customer.
You can go to Vaporkings website and type GreenSmoke in the search and get new batteries and refillable cartomizers and a faster recharger.
