I have an idea of what I'd like to order, there are just some things I'm not quite sure about.

  1. A couple of viva nova minis
  2. eGo Twist or Vision Spinner
  3. Cone (maybe)

First of all the Viva Novas...there are different ohm heads, I just want to check that the ones available are similar to cartos...like a 1.8 is the same as a LR carto, 2.4 is like a standard carto and 2.8 is like a HR. Also what difference does wick length make? And finally is there a specific model I have to buy if I want "rebuildable" or are they all rebuildable?

Second, are these two devices pretty much the same device just made by different companies? I want to get one but don't really know the difference other than the size and shape.

Third, I'm not sure whether I'm going to get a cone or not yet, but if I do decide to get one how can I make sure it will fit on the twist/spinner properly if I have a nova mini on it? Like this guy, his looks great and it seems he has a little cone type thing on it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/344851-im-vivi-heaven.html#post7589720

Thank you :)

First question. Ohms and voltage the true thing is watts. You want between 4-8 watts. IMO if you go over 8 it usually will burn and give a real TH and a burnt taste most of the time.
Here are a couple of thing to help with that task.

You are correct 1.8 is LR, 2.4 is standard, and 2.8 is high (except Boge has said that their new standard resistance cartos are close to 3.0)

I prefer the longer wicks for better performance, just remember to bring it closer to horizontal the lower your juice gets in the tank and swirl around often.

All VIVI novas have the replacable head.

eGo twist and the vision spinner are pretty much the same thing, just a couple small differences. Either one is good.

A cone will not fit with the nova on the battery unless you get the micro cone that is only as tall as the "outer threads" of the ego style threading.

Hope i was able to help!

Congrats on the decissions I've seen from your first post. I own (I think at last count) 10 vivi nova's. All are the real deal not a knockoff. 4 of the big ones @3ml and 6 mini's @2ml. If you get the honest vivi nova it will come with all three heads in the package.
I own both the twist and spinner. The spinner is just easier to see the numbers on. (I got bad eyes but can see the twist if I get in good light) Both work identical to each other IMHO.
As for the "cones" Just make sure you buy the small cone for the mini nova's. I have both sizes for both size clearos. All they do is make it look a bit better by hiding the eGo threads on the battery. They do give a bit of extra support but you don't have to have them. Again just my opinion.
And welcome to ECF and happy vaping.

Thanks for the help! I think I'm going to go for the standard nova minis and whichever is cheapest between the twist and spinner (might pay just a touch extra for spinner due to the size). I'm also going to grab an atomiser so I don't have to keep filling up these cartomisers whenever I want to try a flavour.

I'm done after this for a while though, my wallet isn't very deep at the moment (student) and I'm supporting two people on these things. The extra years that will be added on to my life help justify the cost though :)

The spinner will be able to come with a 1300mah battery while the twist last time I heard was a 1000mah battery. Either way you won't go wrong.

Yeah I saw a post somewhere with them both in. My reason for leaning towards the spinner was that the 1300 battery looks quite a lot shorter than the 1000 twist. It's a bit wider but I don't mind that.

I would say yes on the cone, like eGo Thread Sleeve Type C Large Tank - Fits All Std eGos CHROME [gv-egoTYPEC-LargeTankeGoThreadSl] - $2.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more . I got that one for my Spinner. It gives a nice added platform for your tank, and hides your threads. The VN fits perfectly on it, and its a bit bigger on the Mini's. With just a Mini VN one of the other should work just as well...but get one of them imo.

Also be away that some sites, or at least one, only give one set of heads with the Mini's, so chk the description.

If you want something different you might consider one of these. I have one and really like it a lot.
Innokin Itaste : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
There are many vendors that you can get em from so just do a google for Itaste and see what turns up. Some hate em some love em. I like em and have been thinking about getting another one. But then I think about getting a lot of things. LOL. Good luck buddy with what ever you decide on.
Reviews have been positive on this VV also.
