Help me pick a Kayfun please.

I suppose the right answer is it's up to you. If you are looking for Kanthal in particular it's FeCrAl alloy so that would be the one to get.

I've never ordered wire from FT, I will mention that it might be worth checking out the UK forum here to see where other people are getting their wire from - and maybe even ordering it directly from Temco

I know it's on this side of the pond, but they are an excellent vendor with great customer service and pricing. I'm not even sure they ship internationally, so this may be non-starter but I thought it worth a mention.

Kanthal A1 28 gauge. I use 28 gauge more than anything, and definitely for kayfuns. I like wicking with rayon. I think its easy to work with, and if you do get a dry hit, its nowhere near as nasty as cotton.

You won't go wrong with any kayfun....I have versions 3.1-v2 and have had really good success with them. The 3.1 gives me the least problems as the kayfun lite's can and will leak if you don't get them just right. If you do get them right (which isn't hard) they are great vapes. There are many people who have had no problems that's how easy it is to build.

Will a Kayfun or Kayfun clone leak if laid on its side or upside down. What keeps the juice in the tank? Does the chimney screw into the top cap?
