Did anyone take longer than 2 months to completely regain their sense of smell after they started vaping? I'm starting to think I have a problem here. I started vaping in July...My smell/taste went away for the entire month of August. Returned the beginning of September. Went away AGAIN mid-October and still has not returned. Can't taste my juices, can't smell a dang thing I almost burned my house down because an electrical outlet went bad and completely melted. My roommate came home and couldn't understand how I didn't smell it lol. Did anyone else experience this? Am I sick?

by the way I smoked for about 8 years. haven't touched a single analog since july...though I am around cigarette smoke still at home with my roommate

Cloud - I smoked for 40 years, quit August 1st, and it took me until late Oct - Early Nov before my smeller seemed normal. I had a batt burn up in the outlet, plastic all melted, etc. Didn't smell a thing. Didn't know it until I saw it. I wouldn't think it is something to worry about but would check with the doc the next time you go in.

This may not be exactly to the point, but I do nearly all of my daytime vaping in the car - being a delivery driver. I've noticed quite a significant residue build up on my windshield after a day or two, which makes it a little difficult to see driving into the sun or oncoming headlights at night. Had to invest in some Windex.

This leads me to wonder if vaping leaves a similar sort of residue in our sinuses and/or our lungs. I don't suppose there's been anyy kind of study on this? Is there any knowledge base on this?

Everyone is different. I went through two bouts of tasteless juices, and for me each lasted 1-2 weeks at most. However everyone's body handles that differently. It may help to vape strong juices -- cinnamon, menthol, clove, stuff like that, just to kind of reboot your tastebuds and cleanse the palate.

Watch thouse spicy foods. They hit much harder when your taste recovers

Also, this. Good lord, this.

Hopefully this is just another, longer phase of tasteless juice like someone suggested. I DID vape Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice, BWB RY4 and Malty, Vermillion River Maplewood, Bounty Hunter but now its just Vermillion River Applewood all day every day because its the only one I get a little flavor from. I know vaping the same flavor for a long time can screw you up but this def. started happening before I discovered Applewood.
