Help... MVP 2.0 problem

My MVP2 seems to have quit working. I was vaping on it all day and went to hit it and nothing. The screen reads A0.0

I know the resistance of the coil is 1.8 ohm so it's not too low and it has been working great but it just stopped. It's fully charged also.

I dunno? Anybody got any idea why it's doing this now?

Did you try a new coil/head? Sounds like you may have popped the head

Either your coil popped or the firing pin was pressed in too far. Try another topper. If it's the pin, use a tiny flat blade screw driver or needle and wiggle it up a little.

Can you doublecheck the coils on a multimeter?

Yes I even wrapped a new coil and tried it again. I'm using a kayfun RBA and I also put a protank 2 on it and they both read the same A0.0

The PT2 has a 2.2 ohm coil and the kayfun is at 1.8 so it's not the coil

0.0 means your atomizer is shorted....try a new coil. If it wasn't making contact it would read "NON".

Alright... I've tried three different toppers on it, the KFL+ with a fresh coil, a protank 2, and a EVOD. They all read 0.0 but will work on other batteries. Not a shorted atomizer

The pin on your MVP (where it makes contact with your topper) needs to by pried up ever so slightly.
Happens to mine all the time
A 510 to ego adapter fixes this quite easily, or just pry the pin up a bit using a safety pin or a paperclip. (that's what I use but there are other things to use)

I've done that. I've tried 3 different toppers that work on other batteries but not on the MVP. I'm beginning to think it may be fried after only 2 months of use. Ugh

Then there might be a defect in the 510 of the MVP causing the center pin to short to the threading.....liquid, debris? Maybe try cleaning the 510 with cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.

This might sound stupid, but have you tried turning the MVP off and then back on? I only say this, because if a shorted atomizer was attached to my Innokin SVD it would read 0.0 and refuse to fire again until it was turned off and then back on. Perhaps the Innokin MVP behaves similarly, although I haven't experienced it. And if that's the case, you have a suspect atomizer in your arsenal.
