Thanks for answering. I don't have a multimeter.

1. I have 4 new batteries purchased with the Reo. They all are fully charged and none of them seem to work.
2. The atty is screwed in all the way. No atty works.
3. It does seem as if the battery is not firing. The spring looks okay, but it still isn't firing or making contact if I push the battery up to the firing pin.

Be sure to push hard enuff on the button. My new one is so tight that I only have one finger strong enuff to push the button all the way. Spent most of a day figuring it out....I just wasn't gettin any power with a primed atty and new battery. All because I wasn't strong enuff to push the button hard enuff. Good luck......you'll get it figured out. :vapor:

With the recommended batteries you should not have to push the button very hard. With batteries that are longer you may have problems.

No atty works, Doots. I tried both of my LRs and even a couple of standard resistance ones. It seems to be a button issue. With the extra Noalox, it fired a couple of times, but it's sporadic.

Okay...so here is what I'm thinking. If the button is all of a sudden stiff and hard to work and you find that you need to push the battery up to make contact with the firing pin, a short may have occurred. You need to send Rob (redeyedancer) a PM right away. I have already alerted him to your post.

I can wiggle the battery a bit sideways, but there is no up and down movement. The switch is easy to move off and on. If the battery is not in, I can press the button down. Initially, the pin moves only slightly downward, then meets a bit of resistance. When I press harder, it fully depresses. I can feel the initial resistance. When the battery is in, there is resistance. The Noalox is helping some.

I think I had a similar issue. What Reo (?not sure first name) and I think happened to me is my atty was faulty and shorted my Grand AND Mini. It heated up so much that the plastic button melted to the firing pin. Also the bottom spring completely compressed and melted together. The best part is I just got the replacements in today and after vaping on my Grand all day I swapped batteries for another AW IMR and same thing happened.

I've had atty issues prior (on my SP2) but discarded that batch and got new ones. I'm done with those attys and using Boge carts with success.

Also to note I contacted Reo when this happened and he's been great with resolving my issue! A+ from me!

Here's what a collapsed spring looks like; center Tumbled Mini. Alice
