Ok this is by far not a complaint with design or lack of quality with the product from Madvapes. I am very happy with the way it work's and realy is my daily user, it has put my riva and hello out of business. But i was driving in the car today gettin my Vape on and I noticed juice coming out of the middle of the housing where it screw's togther. One i know what flooding does and pay close attention and haven't flooded it at all. 2 i took it apart and noticed the whole positive connecter is soaked in juice, so now i am worried about it at first i thought maybe i missed dripping while driving but when i seen that it got me woundering if it will short out or somthing. i then noticed around each ring aka around the connector and switch u can see juice not around it but just under the crack as if it is filling up inside till it leak's out.. somebody help me fix this it is less then a month old my favorite Pv and don't wanna have to put ol betsy down what kind of glue or anything. and also does anyone know if i put glue on it, if that will void the 3 month warrenty on it?? please help me my baby is sick:danger:

They are a snap to disassemble and reassemble. It really is quite elegant in it's simplicity.

I'm confused a bit by this. All 510 connections that have a manual switch are sealed usually. Mark, are you saying that the atty connector on the Roughstack isn't sealed against juice by design? I don't see what difference it would make in terms of being able to swap out the switch and board when it goes bad. Is there a reason it's not sealed that I am missing? I'm not trying to be critical, but I can't imagine a 510 connector that isn't sealed on purpose.

I was seriously planning on getting one of these, but the first thing I would want to do would be to seal the connector if it came unsealed. Would that hurt it in any way? Can you seal them if it doesn't hurt anything? I agree with your statement that juice getting down into the switch can help lead to it needing to be replaced sooner, and I don't like the idea of juice getting into the area of the positive connector on the battery.

Obviously I am not Mark, but maybe I can help as I have one of these bad boys. The switch and atty connector are not sealed from the inside using epoxy or any type of seal so they can be swapped out easily. The switch is screwed on place and held with a nut and the connector is just press fitted. If someone were to flood the atty and some juice escaped it could leak into the unit around the switch or connector, but it shouldn't be much of an issue. The juice is non-conductive and therefore should not short out your unit. As for corrosion, I suppose it could happen, but I would imagine it would take a long time. Getting a little juice on your battery won't hurt anything. There is no circuitry to damage like a standard 510 battery.

The short version is, don't worry about it. If it gets gooey inside, clean her up and your good to go.

ETA: The center post on the connector is indeed sealed. There just may be very small gaps around the switch or connector.

i promise you if you were to buy one of these. you would fall in love....... Best thing i put money into and the leak is more then my fault i take the bridge out of my atty's, which means if i don't hit it dead center some juice comes out the side of the atty and bam found a spot to get in, but RTV fixed it and i made sure i would be able to take it back off, and i can.

not that i don't like the switch i love the feel but i like red switch's idk color preff. for me
