OK..I decided to take the leap and make my own e-liquid, so I got the following:
- A 10 ml bottle of Flavor Art's RY4 Flavor.
- VG (Pharmaceutical Grade)
- PG (Pharmaceutical Grade)
- Liquid Nicotine (99% from Zenith, but cut 1:1 VG, so it's a 49.5%).
I will start with a 5 ml project and see how it works, but I have a question: Most of the readings I did recommended a 15%-20% flavor concentration. However one thread on ECF (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-flavour-art-single-flavor-percentages-4.html) suggested to use 3-5%. So I am at a bit of a loss here. I understand that it's safer to start with a low concentration and then move up if it doesn't taste that good, but if I start with a high concentration it might be difficult to cure the situation.
I am planning to end up with a 12 mg nicotine concentration in a 50% PG/50% VG liquid, so assuming a 4% RY4 flavor concentration the ejuice me up calculator gave me the following results (all in drops):
24 drops of the base liquid
48 drops of PG
24 Drops of VG
4 drops of RY4 Flavor
Assuming a 20% flavor concentration the results are:
24 drops of the base liquid
40 drops of PG
16 Drops of VG
20 drops of RY4 Flavor
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
