Hi, can anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong? I have just used a 3-3.2ohm clearomizer on my provari with RY4 juice and had it set at 4.7 volts it worked fine, then turned it up to 5 volts and it blew. Also is it supposed to glow red at the top when vaping? Only been vaping about a month and really enjoying it, had nill cigs for the past 2 days flavoured juice tastes a hundred times better!!

No, it's not meant to glow red on the top. If it's doing that I'd say it's underwicking terribly.

What you could try is take all of the seals out of the top, and the one that sits over the cup in the middle you'll see has a slot either side. Cut those slots so they're a little bigger, into /\ shapes. It'll mean the CE2s will wick a lot better.

I do it this way and it will wick 100% vg no problem at all.

It would also help if you wet the wick where the coil is when you first use it as it'll wick better and will be wet the first time you use it to prevent burning.

3ohms at 5v shouldn't really blow anything unless it doesn't have liquid on it is why I'm assuming that's the problem.

Hope that helps at all.

Sorry for the wait, just had visitors. I've just fitted another cart and done what leftfeild suggested with the slots and thoroughly wet the wick, having fun with the syringe too, juice everyehere and lost needle end in the bottle, have to fish it out later!! suppose it's all part of the fun of vaping. Cart is running at 3.2 ohms on a 4.7 volts, now trying at 4.3 with spearmint,..... Mmm, very nice...perfect! Many thanks for all your help, and glad to be on a great site.
Carol.

I used CE2 since day One.

And I hate to say it. But I just haven't heard of Many people having good luck at 5 Volts at Any Ohms.

5 volts @ 3 ohms is about 8.3 watts. CE2's just don't seem to work well Over 8 watts or so for Most people.

I use CE2s exclusively (Fluxomizers and Vision Extremes). I get the best performance with 3 ohms at no more than 4.4 volts on my Provari. Much higher than that, and the wicks just won't keep up.

Yeah, past about 4.5 volts seems to about the Limit that most people hit before they start to taste Burnt.
