I have an AGR carto tank and have been very pleased with it. No leaks, carto locked onto tank, easy to use though the fill hole should be bigger. Loved it even more when I double punched my boge 2.0's. It started drinking juice still with no leaks. Great vapor and pretty good flavor. Anyway mixed a new juice with a bit of Amaretto and low and behold found it to be a tank killer. My tank looked like and egg shell in about 5 mins. :(

I need a new tank that will fit standard size boges, locks on to the carto and has a glass tank. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks folks

The hard part will be finding a glass tank that locks onto the carto. I consider myself relatively knowledgable about what cartotanks are out there on the market, and know of no glass tank that fits your discription.

If I may ask, how important is it to you that the tank locks onto the carto? And why is this a need?

I'm not sure I understand what you're describing. I use a flanged carto on my glass tanks (they have metal caps, not grommets) and I use a "Slap Yo' Mama" tool to change cartos. The carto doesn't go up or down and no problem with the o-rings.

@Baditude, from what I have read, tanks that dont lock and are tight enough to keep from slipping seem to chew up the oring pretty quick. I am not delicate with my PV, so the lock is added security. But being as the only one I know of has a plastic tank, I am open to suggestions on other glass tank setups.
I've been using cartotanks pretty much exclusively for approximately 8 months. I have tanks from several different manufacturers. Since the Slap-Yo-Momma tool came onto the market, I have been using one every time I assemble/fill or refill a tank. I have never needed to change an o-ring in any of my tanks during all of this time.

The tank tool is designed to protect the o-rings from the sharp edges of a carto. It also greatly speeds up the assembly and filling process. I can assemble/fill a fresh cartotank setup in 4 minutes with one, and refill a tank in 1 minute. A PBusardo Review - Slap Yo Mama Multi-Purpose Adapter - Big Daddy Vapor - YouTube

I also use laser-drilled cartos. I've found that these provide me with an expected level of consistancy carto to carto as opposed to tool-punched cartos. Tool-punched cartos, whether purchased that way or done by the user himself, invariably become deformed out-of-round, or oval instead of round, at the point of the punched hole. This can make passage of the carto difficult through the endcaps, and place undue stress on the o-rings.

Using the laser-drilled cartos removes the above issues, and despite the smaller sized holes wick e-liquid perfectly fine. I find it helpful to have both 1 and 2 hole cartos available. I use the single hole for juices that have 50% or less vg. I use the double hole for juices with more than 50% vg.

I prefer pyrex over other tube materials in a tank. Glass is an inert material that will not impart any "plastic taste" that a few individuals claim they can detect with plastic tubes. It is also totally immune to certain flavors such as cinnamon, citrus, and others that can melt or crack polycarbonate plastic tubes. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-33.html#post8158663

IBTanked, Phiniac, Valley View Vapes, Hoosier Vapes, and High Desert Vapes are among manufacturers of pyrex glass tanks that own and I recommend. You can view some of these tanks in my photo gallery in the link below in my signature.

Just make certain that you pick the appropriate length tube to go with the length of carto that you plan to use in the tank.

To address your issue of a tank coming off of the carto when picked up by the tank, I've just made a general practice to know not to pick my mod up by the tank only. Having said that, all the tanks that I own are not at all "slippy slidey" that I fear that the tank might slide off accidentally. They all fit snuggly, but not to the point that they are difficult to slide off the carto partially for a refill of e-juice. Using a fairly snug drip tip on the carto end can add some security, too.

I don't use any sort of tank filling tool. If I'm not really careful, the o rings in my ibtanked tanks get mangled fairly easily. The Triple V Premium Tank from Valley View is another story. I've yet to even scratch the o ring. The caps on the Triple V are quite a bit thicker than the caps from ibtanked, so that may have something to do with it. Both tanks fit extremely tight with no sliding. In fact, I regularly pull them out of my pocket by the tank and I run them on a VAMO which is quite heavy.
