Yup, T6. I got a huge $7.00 set at the Homey Depo.

Is that the "General micro tool kit"? I picked up one of those because it was cheaper than those glasses repair kits, and came with a whole mess of bits :)

My favorite kit is a precision tool kit I bought at radio shack for my RC hobby (read 'new addiction', lol). Came with every bit I could ever need for any RC brand, and the bits are all hardened so I don't round them off on stubborn screws, lol.

I've been doing that, but seems like every few days it works itself back out and starts wobbling again. Im to the point where I just want to rip the switch out, its a neat idea, but kind of an unnecessary feature, lol.

I don't think you want to rip it out. It was real tight when I opened it and you will have to be handy with a soldering iron. It isn't micro work but its not some thing you can just pop out. From my one time opening one and from what I saw on a couple You-Tubes, the easiest solution would be to loosen the four screws, gently lift the cover a little bit then push down and move the toggle so it is bellow the bottom of the cover and slide it to the side so it is trapped there. That would keep it from popping back up again. You also just might be able to do that with out taking the cover off at all. Just work the button down and then to the side.

But hey, that's all just my opinion, I have not tried it so best of luck, but don't blame me :)

I went to town on it pushing the button down again, and it seems to have worked this time. If it pops out though, its gone.

I've was an electronics tech in a "past life", unsoldering the switch doesn't scare me, the only thing that would really bother me about it is having an open hole that dirt could get in to. Hopefully it'll just state like a good switch, lol.

Instead of fussing with the switch.....Why not just put 4 small adhesive-backed "feet" on the bottom???
They'd provide grip and raise the bottom plate up so the switch length wouldn't be an issue??
Just my :2c:.....:D

In all likelihood the little rubber feet would stick out catching on things and eventually tear off. With the exception of the above case, every one else who has tried recessing the button has had success.

How do you attach them? Do you find that they are stable up on legs? Do you think they are going to stay on where you have put them?

Quick Question: Do I need to disassemble the entire unit (top and bottom screws + slide out) in order to gain access to the center pin connection? Or can I just get at it from the top?

I removed the screws and am realizing how tight things are inside, I don't want to yank anything.

Thanks again.
