I purchased two V4L XL auto diamond batteries in my excitement and with the 5 ecig battery chargers I have I figured it was OK I forgot the charger, not so much. I started getting these emails about the Zeus, which apparently came out three days after I ordered my diamond series. So I ordered the Zeus and was going to send back the diamonds, however after reading all of the post decided to keep them because apparently having lots of batteries is a good thing.

Anyhow I am on the site filling my cart and saw this pretty cool 3.5ml Dual Coil Metal tank- 808D. I hate filling the little cool carts, they are just as bad as regular carts so I am getting the tank. The problem is it mentions something about changing the cartomiziers every week to week and a half in the reviews and there are two choices, a single and dual coil. I don't know enough to know which one to order so I was hoping someone can fill me in.

I ramble when I am confused so sorry about that. I saw a thread on the forum but it is closed I think because I’m still new. ^_^

I think somewhere in there you answered your own question. I would think a dual coil cartomizer would go with a dual coil tank.

Seems like that would be logical. Although I'm not familiar with this particular tank and carto the op is talking about. Usually single coil cartos can be used in dct tanks ( dct =dual coil tank). What the most important thing is how long the carto is and the tank is. There is two sizes standard length 35mm and xl 45 mm. You want to get the same size tank as you do cartomizer. Although you can use a xl carto in a standard size tank , but not vice versa. Hope this helps.

I recommend using single coil cartos, Boge and Smoktech are good.

Cartomizers are disposable--they need to be replaced often.

Dual coils are kind of tricky; imagine vaping two 3.0Ω cartomizers attached to the same battery at the same time--you get more vapor, but no more heat (power) and the combined resistance of your 1.5Ω DC carto will drain your battery very fast. And you'll use up your juice twice as fast as you would while vaping only one cartomizer.

If you want to read a scientific explanation, I'll be happy to link a few threads about the Ohm's Law and how it applies to DC cartos. Just say the word!
