Are there varying kinds of quality on cartomizers. I got some the other week that I canot get the mouthpiece off to try and re-fill it and it looks like cheap plastic.
Are there better ones out there that are easier to refill and take apart when done?
Also the carts have have a terrible taste.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated:(

I'll let 510 cartomizer user, Kent (or any of my other fellow veterans), answer this. I just have a request: When speaking of cartomizers, please specify whether you are referring to the tried and true (and improved) Kr8 – still beloved by many of us – or the young whippersnappers, those 510 thingies.:D [The request is serious; my deprecatory remarks about the 510 are teasing.]

I had to glance through some of your other posts to determine, to which you were referring.

I have experience with three types.

The first was the Nhalers 'regular' (ie. not mega) cartomizers that had a cork-filter type paper where the mouthpiece was very hard to remove - reminded me of certain V4L KR8 hard tips that had "crazy glue" holding them on ;-)

The second type - 'mega' from Nhalers, clouds of vapor, are larger, soft tip 3.4ohm, very easy to remove the mouthpiece - these are great on 5volt mods.

And the LR 1.6-1.7ohm 510 cartoz from Provape - again soft tip, easy to remove. They create a lot of vapor but tend to lose flavor on any true 3.7 Volt and the flavor loss is not that evident on eGo/Tornado/Riva and 510 mega batts (the last is not recommended but I tried them out on them as well).

The 510 blank megas and the 510 blank LR's don't have the underflavor of most KR8 cartomizers. So because they also have the soft tips that are easily removed, those aren't the type you had, evidently. The megas are also a bit bigger than your regular sized carts. They refill easily.
