First, I don't have a throat hit or vapor problem - those aren't an issue at all. I've been doing this for just over three weeks now. Letting the atty break in and moving to blue foam made a world of difference in those areas. Also, I'm mainly using the cherry flavor. So here's my problem. Some days I have great flavor all day long, but most days I have basically no flavor at all. I don't get it. I feel I've tried everything. New foam, cleaning the foam, new atty, cleaning the atty. When I think I have it solved, it winds up that I don't. Now when I direct drip, I have no problem. Is THIS why people direct drip? Why should this make a difference? Meaning if I'm getting the throat hit and vapor, shouldn't I be getting the taste? If not, where'd it go? And why might I have an entire day of great taste in between? Thanks everyone. Your'e all invaluable.

I went through a strange period last week like this. Could not taste any of my favorite liquids. Someone posted that they switch to a clove juice when this happens so I think it is fairly common.
I tried clove but I hate it so I used some honey eucalyptus that I got from Mrs T's. This worked for me. The eucalyptus is strong and has good throat hit and taste. I vaped this for awhile and then went back to some of the other liquids and I could taste them again.
My problem now is I am really liking the eucalyptus flavor.

Anyway hope this helps. You do not mention what flavor you are vaping but basically the idea is to switch to something strong like mint, menthol, or eucalyptus or clove and then switch back.

I've had similar problems. Or I will find a flavor displeasing, then a couple days later find it quite nice. Or vise-versa. Maybe vaping the same flavor dulls out our taste buds? Probably would help to switch to another flavor then back again as previously mentioned.

I had a thought the other day, I wonder if shaking the bottle before filling/dripping would help with the flavor at all. The liquid seems pretty well mixed, but if the flavorings are of different density then the nicotine juice or the PG/VG couldn't that cause certain elements to fall to the bottom/rise to the top of the bottle? Just a thought. I haven't tried shaking my bottles before use, but I intend to. If the results are drastic (which I doubt they will be) I'll report back....
