Help please

I just got a iclear 16 dual core and some replacement coils. It came with a 1.5 ohm and that's killing my throat. I have some 2.0 but I don't know how to get the blinking thing off to change it. Does anyone know, I must be mad lol.

Is it a matter of turning down the voltage, given that you have that option?

I do have that option but the 1.5 is such a low resistance, I wanted to put the 2.0 ohm on instead, I feel like there's absolutely NO resistance lol, thanks Andy

Sorry, if not. Simply unscrew the base. From there, hold the head, which is at the top of the assembly) and unscrew it. Good luck..

How in heavens name do I get the old one out? Top? Does the bottom twist off? lol, I'm at a loss here.

This base will NOT unscrew unless it's just absolutely on there with crazy glue. lol

Yes, you can take hold of the silicon cap and twist.

It just screws off. Grab the little knurled thingie of the coil and twist. Oh, and make sure it was screwed in all the way too. I got the harshness when it wasn't seated tightly.

Yes, iclear 16, that base will not screw off, my fingers are about to bleed and I'm afraid I'm going to crack the bloody thing lol

It may have been cross threaded, when they put it together.

I don't know what to do now, I guess just put up with the 1.5 ohm but I have these replacement coils that I can't even use now.

You have a pair of pliers? Try putting a paper towel or napkin over it and then gently twist with the pliers. Remember- righty tighty, lefty loosey. These are the parts you should have.

Y'all are the best, I will try with some pliers, what's the worst that can happen? lol I will still have my replacement coils hahahaha. Gonna give it a shot. Thanks guys.

Woooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I did it and I didn't break it. Good Lord but that was on tight!!!! lol if I hadn't had the pliers my fingers would be bleeding right now.
