I quit smoking cold turkey and the major withdrawal with the ecig really lasted only 3 days. I actually woke up the 4th day and took a deep breath that "THAT" was over. The first 3 days were really bad. I still felt like I was missing something, and didn't realize until I had a cigarette that that's what it was. Maybe I need more nicotine. Years ago I tried to quit with the maximum strength patch and still chained smoked an entire pack of cigarettes and felt just fine. Maybe I have higher tolerance to nicotine.

I just need get my head right, but I also just had a cigarette - easy to say that now.

IMHO I would just go ahead & smoke & vape :) As long as you don't go over 10 cigs a day you are much better off either way. Wishing you all the best!

Not to be argumentative....but I don't buy that one. Never really have. Guess I'm a skeptic. That said, feeling bad about it or depression without it, may be just as bad for you in other ways. So not being judgmental about smoking, I just don't believe that stat. I've heard every quote...from 2 cigs or less to your 10 cigs or less. Meh. I've also heard the one that says "if you smoked even one cig today, you may as well smoke since it messed up your system already". That's an old one though.

Hi Jane. Firstly, not everyone finds vaping an easy alternative, I believe there needs to be a strong commitment from those that don't have an easy transition. I too have found WTA to be helpful, especially when strong cravings hit. In case you're not aware; we have a vaping group here in Phoenix where we get together occasionally. It's a good way to meet a bunch of nice people who vape, see what different people are vaping/using and have some fun. Link is.. https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_172386802774357&ap=1 .

WTA from Aromaejuice is absolutely OUT OF THE QUESTION due to the $19+ for 10 ml to just try it!!! Take on an extra $6 since they only ship Priority and near me, so I pay sales tax, too. I think I'm going to try and use up the vape stuff I have and see what happens. But after more emails, research, my equip working poorly, I can't see wasting anymore money on vaping. I really wish people would give more tempered and realistic reviews since ALL EQUIPMENT HAS ISSUES. Maybe if I had lower expectations the experience would have been better. The attempt to try and get the wta put me over the edge, . . . again. Maybe I'll check back in a couple years and see if there is better technology, quality, testing and retailers.

Fed up with vaping, AGAIN! VAPING is just not ready for prime time.

If someone sent you a sample of WTA and you found that it solved your problems, would you still not buy it due to the price?

Hey Jane... I grew up in that no-man's land between Tempe, Scottsdale, and the indian reservation. Does the 202 still suck now that the 101 is built up?

I hear you on realistic reviews and equipment having issues. My two cents:

    1) Forget the WTA. It's not going to be just like smoking and that's that. If you try to switch again, forget the notion that it's going to be a perfect substitute. I think you'd be better off not even expecting it to be that "good".

    2) This may sound silly, but do what they tell people to do when they're quitting smoking cold turkey. Count past your cravings, focus on the benefits, etc. Treating it like you're quitting but still keeping much of the nicotine by vaping might be enough to get through it. It sounds like you do have a pretty heavy nicotine tolerance, so it might take more mind-tricks to make the switch than for most.

    3) It's the corniest tip but probably the one that matters the most: want it. You gotta want it. If you approach vaping as something that's should provide you with relief from smoking withdrawls, it's going to disappoint you. The equipment isn't extremely consistent, and there's room for improvement, yes. But...

    4) Regardless, many many people figure out a setup that is easy to maintain and works reliably. I use ego batteries and I rebuild vivi novas. Considering I get things delivered and used to have to go hit the corner store all the time for smokes (and stand outside and do nothing while I smoke them), I can rebuild a coil in the time it takes to get to the store and back. It really, really (REALLY!) takes less time than smoking did. I DIY very simple flavors and only two of them... that's literally as easy to make as stirring chocolate syrup into a glass of milk.

There ARE very cheap, hassle-free ways to do this.

Hi Jane, I was a 2 PAD smoker, been vaping for 3 months. I only smoked a few days in the beginning of that 3 months- except for 2 weeks ago, i smoked about 2 packs in that 2 weeks. now im back to just vaping again since thursday. the first little while was a bit tough in the beginning, but after that i felt great. i did use WTA juice as well as regular and NET juice. had a stressfull few weeks after that thus the slip up.. but even though now i am going through a bit of withdrawal again, i know that vaping is far better for me and smoking is a bad thing which now also grosses me out so.. i will get through it and not smoke. you can too :) i always have a wide range of juice flavors, strengths, as well as WTA and NET juices on hand. it helps.

Since that was generally the case I just lowered the cost by getting it from Fasttech. Is it perfection? Not as such. It is pretty much the same tank, or clearo or what ever you would get somewhere else. The difference is I don't feel nearly so bad about spending 3 or 4 bucks on something that may leak. So far though I have had no issues with any of them I have ordered from there.

Bazmonkey, freeways are actually not too bad anymore, even in rush hour.

When I quit, I spent days on this forum. Ended up buying a KGO kit that came with 2 batteries and an awful carto-type tank and some awful tasting juices. Then bought a mini and regular sized Vision Vivi Nova and a couple more because I liked them. I've also bought another cheap 900 mah ego at a meeting (died within the month), iTaste (piece of junk and I was so excited after saving for one), 2- 1200 mah Spinners, ego 900 mah Twist, some CE3's, joye atomizers, boge cartomizers, several chargers due to failure. I bought about 30 flavors to make my own juice, as well as, some pre-mades. I only like non-sweet tobacco and one "Green" pre-filled cartos I won at a meeting - sort of herbal tasting.

I was really liking the Spinners until the Vivi Nova's stopped staying attached. The threaded portion stretched or something. Then I dropped one and it's done, a KGO stopped charging, itaste after several issues stopped charging within a month. The Twist doesn't seem to work as well as the Spinner and is my newest purchase. But I've gone through so many vivi nova heads (expensive and don't last very long - less than a day) and the latest batch really seems really bad (yes, I clean them and they work but not nearly as good as when new). The vivi nova(s) and tops of the batteries are getting so hot (I mean really hot! Too hot to touch.) A couple puffs and the vapor is terrible and they are getting hot. Of course, one never knows what the problem is, defective equipment (because quality is awful), the vivi nova itself, the heads, the battery, the juice? I've posted and spent hours and hours trying to figure out what the problem is, usually with several possiblities, but more problems.

So I was getting ready to buy more nicotine liquid, found a reputable place, put a bunch of stuff in my cart and when I go to check out, it shows "Out of Stock" after I spent a lot of time shopping and would still have to order the vivi nova heads form someplace else. I thought about buying another pv, but I think it's the whole coil system that is the biggest issue and they are all the same (along with quality control). So now I'm at a point to I sink another few hundred into all new equipment only to be disappointed again.

I actually did very well for 6 months with not smoking (I quit completely and was recommending it to everyone who smoked), but the equipment hassles keep getting to me. You'll see more posts by me being very frustrated with the equipment. And pretty much everyone keeps telling me to buy this or that which is how I ended up with the stuff I have. I almost bought a provari, thank god I didn't!

I would like to rebuild the vivi's, but way too much conflicting info out there and then I have to buy something to measure the voltage.

The meetings are a lot of the same, everyone raving about what they have, though nice people (they're smokers/former smokers, of course). Suppliers are always out of something I need, then costs goes up due to shipping. It just seems like it never ends and is really a hassle.

I'm feeling like China can put out anything, and in our desperation to quit smoking, we buy it and then when it doesn't work well, we just buy more. I'm beginning to feel foolish. I admire all of you willing and able to put this much time and money into vaping, but I just want to buy my reasonable priced equipment and vape. I don't want to spend hours on forums, learning all the technical lingo.

I don't think I'm that unusual and I post this hoping the manufacturer's will take note because I do see potential and which it were here for me. But even with the cost increase in tobacco products, it is still far less expensive for me to smoke or better yet quit everything. Maybe I'll change my mind, but I'm feeling pretty done with it.

The WTA does work for some of us. They are not running a charity though, it's a business. They incur significant expense in producing this product so it won't be free. If you want to try their product you will have to buy it like the rest of us.I started about 3 or 4 months ago with just some ego batteries and Kanger T3 and T2. I added protanks, Vamos, cheap drippers and numerous other devices. My failure rate is somewhere south of 1%. I find it amazing that everything you have had has failed.
