Hey bud, I'm going to give you the best advice you can get, as a beginner into e-cigs.
This is what you need to start out:
1) Battery - I'd go with (2) ego-twists. It is what I started out with, and what I'm still using. PERFECT for beginners. I ordered one 650mah and one 1,000 mah. The less mah, the shorter it will be, but the less time you get in between charges.
2) Delivery devices: I suggest you try at least TWO different types to start out with. This will give you a great introduction into e-cigs, and at the same time, allow you to start developing an opinion for what you personally enjoy.
I recommend choosing two of the following: Kanger Pro tank/Mini/Protank 2, Evod BCC, iClear30, Cartomizers, Carto tank
3) Charger - I'd go with one USB charger, that comes with a electrical outlet attachment. This will allow you to charge either using your computer/laptop, OR a wall socket.
I started with 2 ego twists, a pack of cartomizers, and an evod BCC. The evod BCC's are WONDERFUL, but since they are made from polycarb plastic, they won't work with ALL e-liquids. Most e-liquids are safe though. The kanger pro tank 2 is made from pyrex, no glue like the original kanger pro tank, so it works with virtually ALL e-liquids.

so just to be sure you get them all to fit, any good VAPOR`er has one or more of these

Good call on the iTaste MVP Puff! I'm going to use that as my home unit and my Protank Mini II for travel.
I really like both of them. The MVP provides a less airy vape but I really do enjoy smoking both of them. My cases came in too. I found some great ones here.... I got one large and one small.

My girl kept using my Mini II so I bought her the Kanger EVOD Single kit from Vape Dojo.
Yeah, these are a great kit and probably the most highly recommended kit on the Forum this past year. Totally agree.
I haven't read the whole thread, but this looks like a really good deal. Of course, if you are going with the MVP that's fine. But if you wanted something more Evod like this looks like a winner! I got the Kanger Mini Protank II starter kit and then Puff posted a link to an MVP for $39 so I picked that up too. I wouldn't mind an SVD just cuz it's a pretty looking unit. I like the artistry that goes into these things.

That is very sound advice. The adapters and even extensions are very useful. I got a MT3S that needed a 510-eGo to work perfectly. They can also change the draw on some tanks. Sometimes good and sometimes not so good. I also use the 510 short sealed extenders before using cartos on the MVP directly. These help keep a carto from getting liquid in the MVP connection. If it stays dry for the day then it goes on without the extender. They are also useful if you want to use a Artemas/UDCT tank with the beauty ring and locking ring. It wont sit flush but at least it fits. I just remove the locking ring on the UDCT though and it fits fine.
I would also get some 18guage syringes. Larger if you use straight VG. Blunt tip is fine for clearos and sharp is better for cartos IMO. These can be a PITA to get locally and not everyone will believe you are getting them for vaping unless they are blunt. Local laws can also be a problem for buying syringes.

My MVP came with the iClear 30 and so far so good. I'll need to learn how to rebuild it if it's a possibility. Still doing my research.

Im a noob too but was introduced to the carto after using Pro Tanks and iClears aka clearo tanks. A carto is basically a tube filled with a polyfill and the coil or coils is inside that. Most have hole/s and you put them in a tank such as a IBtanked or if you want cheaper a SMOK DCT Pyrex is about $10 plus drip tip and the actual carto.
You saturate the polyfil with juice in the "tube" instead of "filling" a tank if used plain (un punched). Its a tiny bit more advanced than using "normal" tanks and the learning curve is different. The flavor though can be quite an eye opener compared to a clearo such as a Pro Tank. I barely touch my Pro Tanks now. Im either vaping with a carto in a tank or using the iClear30.
If you want to try a carto aka cartomizer, i would start with a Boge or a SMOK plain unpunched 2.5ohm or less (Single Coil). They only hold about 1.5ml of juice for the XL size. You can refill them several times until the draw gets too tight then they are basically disposable. They do not clean well or swap flavors well so you need a few if you want a selection of flavors ready to vape.
If you like them, you can get the punched versions and put them in a tank. Finding what works best with your juice in a tank can be a challenge. Too wet, too dry, too many holes, juice to thin or too thick ect ect. Once you get a burnt taste its shot. They will always taste burnt then to me.
Baditude is a huge help if/when you want to try them. Checkout his blog for more info on cartomizers. I started with SMOK 1.7ohm single coil cartos without any holes. That was a good way to learn the basics and its fairly cheap to try. I get those for under $1.50 each but 5packs of Boge brand are sometimes even cheaper.
