I'll check my voltage again, but this li-po is not your standard eGo cell.

So back to Vapbaby, who is probably confused, bored and feels ignored. I'm sorry for derailing your thread. I have no experience with the Halo Triton. It looks like a regular eGo to me, but apparently it isn't. Everyone who has had one likes it.

If you want to go with a variable voltage battery, the kit Katya linked to is probably the best around. VV is very nice, but not necessary, especially in the beginning. My first kit was a joyetech 650mAh, which looks very similar to the Triton kit and I quit just fine. I didn't even have clearos.

I've only read about LiPo in reference to things like RC. Wouldn't that be a selling point that Halo might promote?

For the record, I've never once said the Halo Triton was a bad kit, only that it looked expensive for what appeared to me to be generic eGos.

I'm confused too. As far as I know, Volt X2 and Halo Triton are eGo clones or knockoffs or copies or whatever you want to call them. They all have the same batteries (li-ion) that start at 4.2v and cut off at ~3.2.

I think the term you are looking for is rebranded - but hey, what do we know? I'm a cat and you're a bird.

Okay, yes overloaded a bit haha as went bit run away train! I would love to stay with Triton, but wish the clearo was just a bit slimmer...I wanna look cute still ya know and not holding a big ole fatty! At the same time, I don't want so small as the G6 mini clearo!! I also would like a VV Twist and know Triton has the 900, but hoping they will get a bit smaller of one (don't want my stick so big for my hand). Okay, questions...

Comes down to the Halo Triton or Kanger Evod...I totally love love the look of the Evod! However, one is top coil and other is bottom coil...ugg more confusion! I want a hit that is like my analog cigarettes, seeing I have yet to quit. My cigs now are "strong" lights (much stronger then marlboro lights). I want all the flavor and all the throat hit haha. As for warmth, I just want like my analog cig, I guess? I have heard that bottom coil gets much less hit and warmth? Which is better and are they really THAT MUCH different?

New Vapor who is currently smoking cigs...so your pick is?

Kanger EVOD
Halo Trition

Hi VapBaby!

I already made my recommendations here;

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...know-also-dripping-triton-2.html#post10444475

I really have nothing to add--it's your choice! But remember that Triton (like Volt) has a kr808 connection, which is not as popular as the 510. I'd go with the 510 connection and variable voltage. There are so many heads that are compatible with the Twists and Spinners..

If you like top coil, try a Kanger T2 (looks just like Triton); if you prefer bottom coils, get an eVod, a baby T3 or a Protank mini V2--all glass.

Good luck!

Halo doesn't make a bottom coil (yet) so you'd miss out on trying one.. unless... you order one from Smokeless Image, which carries vGo threaded gear (fully compatible with Halo Triton batteries).

The Triton tank is a Kanger T2, the SI tank is a T3 (but you can get the newer T3S for an eGo).

Sorry, I know this isn't helping a whole lot :p

I don't know if I like bottom coil or top coil as I have not started yet! I know I want flavor, throat hit (like my analog cig), dependable, etc. I don't know what the differences really are for the two styles or if the differences are really that big? I also don't know what the real difference is with warmth or if just barley different. I don't want cold! I think I want to do the VG (Virgin Vapors as I want as close to natural) and have heard that bottom coil does better, but also hear that top coil can handle if thinned just fine. I think I heard that VG doesn't give as strong as throat kick, so I want to make sure I get top or bottom coil that will not further the loss of the hit.
