Alright so I am new to vaping, about 2 weeks into it now, I had blu and just switched to V4L Vapor King. Well since I have switched the vapor and how long the batteries and carts last is amazing! But I am having a small issue...

Alright the issue is that when ever I refill the cart, using either the condom method or taking the top off and just drip onto the cotton stuff and then on both ways I do the spin method to help it soak up better...which it does a lot, all the liquid seems to soak right in.

Well the issue I am having is later on, not right away, like a couple of hours or the next day, this huge burst of liquid will either plop into my mouth or before I even vape, it is sitting in the condom/plastic covers that I keep on my carts to keep them fresh. So some how the liquid is seeking out of the cotton crap and collecting on top and just waiting for me to vape it into my mouth!

Please do not give a suggestion like "check it each time before you vape" because if i have to do that while driving or any time really, that = more trouble then it would be worth

The main reason I ask is because this can not be good for me to get all this eliquid inside my mouth and on my tongue...and it just taste awful like that!

Thanks in advance!

Yeah that horrible taste of ejuice in your mouth is nasty. I recently switched from the condom fill method to just dripping it in there. I may not fill it up all the way but this method has seriously reduced the amount of eliquids i get in my mouth. Just keep practicing really. it's taken me about a month to finally be able to refill with precision.

You may also try filling with a syringe. I push the syringe about 3/4 ways doen and slowly inject the e-juice until I see the top of the filler getting wet. I pull the syringe up to about the 1/4 point and continue till the top of the filler glistens. I then blow, through the non battery end and wipe the excess juice from the atty post. I don't spin or use condoms while filling and store the refilled cart, with condoms on both ends, in a vertical position. It takes a little more time but I never get leaky carts or juice in my mouth.

I would say you are diffinately overfilling them.

When I refill, I remove the mouth tip and drip. Use a flashlight to see what is going on. Tilt the cart at 45 degrees and add 3 drops to the same spot. Watch it obsorb into the filler. Keep adding 3 drops until you see that the filling is saturated.

For a completely empty cart, thats about 20 drops. For a used carto, it might only be 12 or 14.

After I refill and put the tip back on a carto, I put a paper towel over the batery end and gently blow thru the carto. If any liquid comes out, it was too full. If you hear gurgleing when you take the first hit, it is too full.

This souonds so technical, I'm not sure if it's the same for the cartos and the cartridges or not, but why don't you try some of the mods that have been described in the mods forum? I use a 801 with a straw and blue foam plug mod and have had no leaking, flooding or any other issues. If you check out the mods forum, I'm sure you will find something helpfull! Good luck on your journey to vaping satisfaction.

MikeyB, after you refill, do what I call the GURGLE TEST.

After refilling, draw on the carto by itself (ie. not attached to the battery). It should sound dry and clear. If you get any gurgling or sound of liquid inside, it's too full.

This can be remedied by putting a piece of paper towel against the battery end (not too tightly) and blowing it out through the mouthpiece end. Keeping blowing it out until you get that nice clean dry sound, then carefully wipe any excess juice spatter from the battery end, and voila - your cart should ready to go!

Another bit of advice - It's better to refill small amounts frequently than to try cramming too much into a carto at a time. Go for smaller, more frequent refills.

it takes a little while to get used to refilling. After awhile, you'll get the hang of it.

With vapor4life cartos, after a refill, it is always good to take short, soft puffs 7-10 times. I also like to let the carto sit for 15mins after filling to help let the juice absorb a bit. Be sure to let the carto cool down a bit after each drag. With the new "cool carts" they have tho you won't have to do that for long. Even removing the rubber cap after using the condom fill method and doing a light blow inside helps. :)

Welcome to the forums!
