Yeah.. I Do, didnt we have to do it to adjust the coil ?How did you wick it? Did you also dry burn the coil after mounting but before wicking?
how are the ohms reading? Maybe you have a short...assuming you burned it in. Pics?
Before that, i tried to make my own build and it works with out the smells.it shows - 3.87v , 0.50 Ohms, 30.1W
It was horrible but ill try to vape few times more.I always get a "coil" taste right after a wick and dry burn. Only lasts for about 5 or 10 draws and then smooths out. I've just accepted it as normal.

I am using kanthal A1 26ga , 10 mThat seems right and no sign of a short. If the cotton isn't burnt, I think it's just the new coil taste. What type of cotton are you using?
I tried to rebuild the coil for 2/3 times and it still the same, but ill try to do what you've told me Thanks dude!Could be machine oil on the wire. don't know where you got the wire from. Generally dry burning first would have gotten that off.
My suggestion. Pull the deck. Toss the wicks. Rinse the deck and coils. Dry burn it and make sure it's heating from the inside out. Don't dry burn it a lot or you'll melt the insulator on the posts. Rinse it again. Rewick. Wet with juice, place on tank and vape. See what happens.
Oh im using the coil master's cotton. Maybe it's the cotton.... ill try to get a new oneNot the wire, the wicking material, is it Ko-gen-do or something else?
I've used their cotton before, imo it's not the best but I didn't get any metal taste.Oh im using the coil master's cotton. Maybe it's the cotton.... ill try to get a new one
