metal taste...what am I doing wrong???

Last resort for me is to tough it for a day, if there is primer in there i should go away quick but you cartos might have gotten too much. If after a day it isn't right, i ain't got a clue. Oh, and i can't afford it all either... but don't tell my wife that

I have heard about that funky ""buttmunch"" taste (as one member described it) in some of the new batches of boge's... Try the Smoktech 1.7 single coil next time you order, or look up how to properly clean a cartomizer, as i have heard this gets the "buttmunch" taste out of them. I like Smoktech's though, and i havent had any problems with them yet(crosses fingers)...

Nope, not using the ones that came with the kit. I bought the Boge carto's seperate. Reading right off the box 2.0 ohm 510D LR and btw, they're stainless if that has anything at all to do with it.

ok, just making sure. The ones that come with the kit, you may as well just throw them away. They are the worst carto I've ever dealt with.

Here's a thread about this issue. If not happy I would most certainly contact the vendor. I had 1 pack knock-off Smok Techs awhile back, lasted 1 day, contacted vendor and he sent me 2 packs of Boges.

Yes, actually I did try the ones that came with the kit. Two, in fact. One worked great and I would have continued to use them except the second one I tried didn't produce any vapor no matter how much juice I put in it. Thinking of expense...and not wanting to waste the juice I do have...I went to the boge cartos. Yeah, pretty much want to toss it all at this point. The second flavor is Turkish Hills...tastes like eating soap. And still tastes like metal. I filled a new one with Lester as well. I filled them both really carefully, although I can't tell how many ml from this bottle (its a lot larger and no markings) I filled the condom thingie 2 1/2 times just about, for each new one. Still taste like metal. I could just cry.

Mayliz, I live by Disneyland and I am always there...if you want to charge your batteries and bring all your stuff maybe we can meet up at a Starbucks or something. I would be more than happy to help you get to the bottom of your issues, you can try the different tanks, clearos and such that I have found very satisfying and if you like any I will show you how to mod them so you like them even more on your own. PM me if you are interested. IMHO if the taste is gross go DCT or clearomizer, both very clean and tasty if set up right!

I would just get a clearomizer and call it a day. If you have to smoke while you are in the process of getting what works then do what you must to not stress yourself out. I just ask that you give it another try. The metal cartomizers may just not be for you. Once you find what works it will totally change your life.

i am new to this also so i do not know much. but on the cartos that came with your kit after filling them did you blow into them (not sure if you can even do this with yours?) i know when i filled mine i had a couple that i couldnt get a hit off of until i blew them out? just a suggestion

i am new to this also so i do not know much. but on the cartos that came with your kit after filling them did you blow into them (not sure if you can even do this with yours?) i know when i filled mine i had a couple that i couldnt get a hit off of until i blew them out? just a suggestion

Yep. Did that.

I've got one more box of carto's I haven't opened. I'm going to try one of them and see if the taste is the same. And clean them all, see if that works. If not, I'll just smoke until I can get one of the clearomizers. Or something.
