Cart+atty sort of sucks compared to cartomizers. But the blue foam will help. On a full fill remove the foam, fill the juice cup 1/2 way, insert the foam tapered end first and press it down into the liquid to wet it (an unbent small smooth paperclip helps). Then reposition the foam even with the top edge of the juice cup. Top it off with 2-3 drops or whatever it needs to look damp on top but not a puddle. While vaping, top off as needed (however many drops it needs to look damp). When topping off doesn't help any more, do a full fill.
And buy some Boge cartomizers. For slim 510 you use standard resistance (around 3 ohms). If you can find the 2.5 ones those would be hotter and should still be OK on slim 510 but are hard to find and will use your battery charge faster. The 2.0 LR ones should only be used on fat batteries and mods 450mah+ and use charge even faster.
I use thin juices with Boge to get good carto life. 20% or less VG and I avoid any juices that seem to drop a lot of carto-clogging sediment (also clogs atomizers). I usually can get over a week of use out of a Boge.
NOTE - Cartos need to be damp everywhere inside to work well and not singe. If you have a slim 510 with auto batteries you will need to be extra careful that your carto is not going to leak before you put if back on the battery. If a carto leaks it will leak right where an auto battery can be damaged or killed by juice. You keep a carto damp with juice. It holds twice as much as a cart and should need juice less often.
