I recently got some Boge 801 cartomizers, the kind with the cotton looking stuff in them, to try in my new DSE-808 Stick. Well I filled 2 of them up, one using the drip method from the top, and the other with the syringe method where you fill the syringe and slide it down the side very carefully and fill it that way. Well neither one is behaving right. I'm pretty sure they aren't overfilled because there isn't any juice pooling at the top but there is plenty of juice in them cause all the cottony material is wet. The main problem i'm having is that no matter how light of a draw I use i keep getting a gurgling sound and just about always get some juice in my mouth, not cool. So I'm just wondering if there is a trick to them because I see that a lot of people use them but so far I'm not impressed. I tried some of the new ce2 clearomizers and while I don't love them they behave a lot better than the cartomizers so far which seems to go against a lot of what I've read on these forums. Thanks for any tips!

Killer! Just tried it and a good bit of juice blew out the end. Popped it on the battery and I'm in business! The gurgling sound is gone and didn't get any juice in my mouth. I did the same with one of my ce2's and the same thing happened and now it vapes better than before. Now I see why every body likes these things so much. Much thanks my fellow vaper!

Yep, gurgling sounds are the noise of bubbling liquid in the barrel and the battery end. There's a fine line between fill and overfill. Once you do this for a while you'll develop a feel for how much juice to add. I top mine off frequently with a few drops to keep it peaked.

If you apply a little suction to the open end before capping it, you can tell if you overfilled. Then it's time to blow it out gently. It's possible to blow juice out of the filler if you keep blowing it out over and over, so blow it out and try it. When the bubbling is gone, you are ready to vape.
