1st- I need to add some menthol to some plain tobacco flavor, I wanted to just do a 30 ml bottle but I cant find how much menthol that I should start with. If someone could point me in the right direction or have the answer that would be great.

2nd- I have a bottle of 12mg of Ry4 and I want to increase the nic level. I was planning on starting with a 30ml bottle. I was going to buy 60mg nic to do this. I want to increase the strength to 24mg. So any help would also be great.

Thanks in advance

I use Voidmist concentrated menthol liquid instead of the crystals (easier to work with), at about 3% (1 ml in 30).

Start with the final nic: 24 mg/ml x 30 ml = 720 mg total of nic needed.

Then it's algebra, two equations with two unknowns.

A + B = 30 (total ml)
12A + 60B = 720 (total mg)

A = 30 - B

360 - 12B + 60B = 720

48B = 360. B = 7.5 (ml) of the 60 mg/ml strength, and therefore A = 22.5 ml of the 12 mg/ml strength.

Quick check: 12 mg/ml x 22.5 ml + 60 mg/ml x 7.5 ml = 720 mg total nicotine.

One other thing I just wanted to clarify was that I really don't like the tobacco flavor anymore, I like the sweet stuff. So to add to the Ry4 I purchased a bottle of LorAnn's vanilla and one of butterscotch to hopefully dull out the tobacco flavor.

Question is was my thought process going in the right direction? LOL Because I know on Markfm's post my thought process had not gone there. Myself and algebra do not and have never gotten along. So his answer for me is GOLD.
