Help with my RDA?

So i built my first sub-ohm coil today. It reads as 0.7. I understand amp limit on batteries and the safety issues of sub-ohm coils. What i want to know is, without the topcap on, it fires beautifully, with it on, i get minimal vapor out of it. Do i need more wick? less wick? bigger air holes?

Any help is appreciated.

I can't tell, but is that a standard (spaced) single coil?

If it is, I've had better luck (I run .67 ohm as an adv) running dual micro compressed coils (small diameter and touching) each around 1.4 ohms.

Also, how big are the air holes/how airy is the draw?

First off approx. what is the size of your air holes?

ok with the 2 nimbus xl's that i own one has dual 1/8 air holes the second has dual 7/64 air holes

i find that the 7/64 air holes are suited for .5 - .7 ohm coils and the 1/8 air holes for .5 and lower although the 7/64th holes work for lower aswell but give a warmer vape.

Can you take out wick so we can see coil? Im guessing you need better airflow and less wick but hard to tell right now .

The air holes are 0.0314 inches wide, theres 2.

Blurry again. It's 3 wraps. the coils are really close together but not touching

Try less wick and see how that works .If still not good then bigger airhole.Myself I prefer a single micro coil with about a 1/16 airhole but have to see what works best for you .

It's not going to make any more or less vapor with or w/o a top cap... so what you're really asking, is why aren't you getting more vapor?
