I was fortunate and purchased a 2011 GGTS & UFS off the classified forum. These are wonderful pieces of machinery and my compliments to the genius who invented them - Imeo I assume. With the help of the User Guide and the many wonderful videos Imeo and others have posted I've just about figured out how to use this complex machine but I'm having problems when adding juice and need some advice. From what I've read I should rotate the UFS block all the way counterclockwise to completely close the juice feed when filling. I did that and also completely closed the air while filling the juice. The problem is that the juice runs into the collector tank and floods the atty. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hey man, grats on finding a ufs! I had this same issue, what you need to do is have the juice CR open abit bit when you install the atty, otherwise it wont tighten down properly. Make sure its nice and tight, the close the juice CR all the way by turning counterclock wise. If this doesnt work, try a different atty. Good luck and congrats again on the find!

So far, so good Ken. That seems to have done the trick - fingers crossed. After filling do you open the juice feed very much? Hope I get this thing figured out pretty soon cause I've used up a whole bunch of juice plus last night while cleaning the UFS I accidently knocked over a full 60 ml bottle of my favorite juice and lost about half of it. From now on maybe I'll remember to screw the top back on, haha.

Depends on how thick your juice is and what wattage you are vaping at. I use 70pg/30 vg and ikv hv atty @6v and i barely have to open the CR. If ezcessive bubbling occurs, that means your collection tank is filling. Close the Control liquid and open the air control and vape it out. Then reajust your liquid control. Make sure to loose up the mouth piece before messing witht the liquid control, if its tight when you adjust the oring may grip the atty and unscrew it. Get yourself a syringe so you can take out the juice if you mess up.

I've had the same thing happen, even when doing it exactly like ken729 said. Finally found that it was the base of the China atomizers I had bought....the base on all of them are not exactly flat. They left a gap with each and every one of the batch I bought. No matter how you screw it in, how tightly, and how well, it still leaked juice with the juice control completely closed. One way to tell was when assembling the UFS, once the atomizer is screwed in, close the air control ring so no air is going in, close the juice control so the base of the atomizer is sitting on the bottom of the tank, and take a quick draw on the atomizer. If a tiny bit of air is coming in, it's still not too bad. Some of the atomizers I've had basically let's me drag easily on it in this situation.

Don't have this problem now, as I've scrapped all those things and bought proper atomizers.

Yeah jack, I've noticed also that I can close the air control ring all the way and still draw??? I'm a newb at this whole GGTS/UFS thing though and realize I've still got a lot to learn as far as getting this thing set up to my preferences is concerned. There are several variables such as air control , juice control, atty selection, battery selection and juice selection that I haven't quite got dialed in yet - but I'm getting there a little at a time. I do appreciate all the tips I receive from members of this forum.

As others have said, it's good to check the control ring to make sure that it's properly installed with the o-ring facing the switch. On mine, even with the control ring properly installed, using any of the bad atomizers still let's me draw easily with the control ring completely closed. This also causes my atomizer to be flooded at all times. Once I changed over to better atomizers I solved the problem, as a proper atomizer tends to seal completely when the juice control is closed. I can't draw at all from it.

A GG is a work of art, and deserves a good atomizer. Once you have all the components in place, and you've set it right, you'll find that it's the best vaping experience you'll ever get. I don't use any mod aside from my TS with UFS these days. Oh....and the flavor, throat hit and vapor rivals any other mod that I've tried, and that includes bottom feeders like the reo and VV like the provari. A good combination of a quality atomizer at 3.7V or 6V is simple, but extremely effective.

(BTW, use IMR batteries, if you can. The voltage they pump out is rather constant, from my experience, and it makes it much easier to find the sweet spot with the juice control)

With my control ring fully open the draw is too tight. I have taken it apart several times and I can't figure it out. I am spoiled my AVS was always perfect. I know the UFS is just fine but I need help getting this figured out.

Very curious............are you sure you have good attys and/or turning the control ring 1/8 turn open when you acually install the atty?!?!?!?
