Hello there.
New to this forum wish I would have found it earlier. Read and read am still a little bit confused. I started vaping 5 weeks ago began on the 510 which is sold on vapewithus.com. I called them and told them that really was not working for me and she suggested I use the e go vision stardust with clear atomizer. That seemed to be better but the atomizers are lasting less than a week. A few of them were hard to get vapor out of others the vapor did not seem enough. I don't feel much sensation in my throat at all. It seems these are very unpredictable. I tried cleaning them and that did not seem to work either and am putting a ton of money into atomizers and I don't seem to get enough vapor. I was a 1 1/2 pack per day smoker. Have not smoked since I started vaping but certainly don't want to go backwards. Can anyone give me an idea of what may work best for me? I would really appreciate any input you may have and thank you.

Welcome to the ECF. You have a 510 connection. Have you tried any 510 cartos? Also the mini Vivi novas have been a good clearo to go to.
Alot of members (including myself) like them. On the Nova's you will have three heads a 2.8 ohm, 2.4ohm, and 1.8 ohm head that you can change to see if it is better for the vapor production.

Agree with both the cartomizers and the mini Vivi Novas. I usually use the mini VNs and carry a couple of cartomizers with me as backups. Both give a good vape, good throat hit and flavor. I haven't had as much success with the regular-sized Vivi Novas, just the minis. But both the minis and the cartos last a lot longer than a week, and don't leak or anything. If you get some cartomizers, you might want to try the lower-resistance ones (2.0 ohms or less). Good luck to you!

My main issue with the novas is getting constant juice flow into the coils, so that the flavor/taste is consistent, EVEN when chain vaping. What happens a lot when you "chain vape", you loose flavor, and get a burnt/bad taste. ESPECIALLY with thick, VG juice like bobas. Simply tipping it doesn't help. So, the only solution I found is to cut little nitches in the rubber cap, where the wicks come out. Problem with doing this is that it is a BIG pain in the .... PLUS you have to be veryyyyy careful how small you cut the nitches, because if you cut them too big, then the nova will flood and gurgle. and once you cut your nitches, lining them up perfectly with the wicks while screwing the cap on is ANOTHER challenge. SO as you can see, the novas can also be a big pain... its a love hate relationship.

I've had good luck with the stardusts. Perhaps look into an ego twist/vision spinner? Not too expensive and you can dial up the voltage to increase throat hit. Also a lower ohm head will help.

EDIT: Also, upping your nicotine level will help if you're now using a med/low mg juice.

Looked at the ego twist /vision spinner what lower ohm head do you suggest? Again lost on all this. Also the charger I have with my ego stardust vision will that work on the twist/vision spinner or do I need to also order the charger.
Can't thank you enough.

Thanks to all. Very much appreciated. Will keep you posted

I started vaping today. I have 2 different types of cheapo clearomizers. I can tell you that there is WAY more vapor than enough. I'm a marlboro guy and these clearos are no joke. The Vivi Nova is the 'best' clearomizer as you can rebuild it with 4 cent wick and 3 cent coil. Operating cost is about 20 cents a week. And its just a good design. Got some in the mail.. but, you can't go wrong with the clearomizer. These cheapos don't leak and they're doing well so far. I'm happy..

People are generally using the 2.00 ohm heads and up with variable voltage. The ohm and the voltage you use with it will help you get the most vapor unless you are flooding something with a little too much juice. Yes, you can use an ego charge with the variable volt egos. I don't know the spinner. I've had a ego vv Passthrough and it's lasted 4 months. It's the same price around $25
There is a chart on ecf or many of them called ohms/ voltage something or another. Just follow that blindly until you get a feel for what you want and are doing. Try to stick with 2.00 or a little more ohms for awhile and try to stick with a thing for awhile until you figure out maybe why it's not working right. You must keep track of the ohms remember. The variable volt will give you a lot more options and success. The unregulated basic ego batteries caused me a lot of frustration. I do remember how frustrated I was. When I talked about resistance I was meaning what kind of drag, like airy and light or tight and hard. The person I was talking to went in to this long spiel about ohms and watts and voltage and so and so forth.
