Ok this has been my problem. ..I'm trying the diy method and every flavor I make either turns out like this 1. Great flavor but not a great vape, like no white smoke or throat hit or 2. Plenty of white vapor but zero taste. Nada none zilch. Can Someone give me a clue on how to do a juice with both great flavor, throat hit and vapor? ?? I'm using rts vapes 36mg nic with with a pg base, all my flavors came from the flavor apprentice and I've also got pg & vg from rts vapes.

The calculators sort of give you the option to add what ever you want. Ok so..You have a bottle of nic that is 36 ml all PG correct? And you want to use 20 percent flavor (in theory because it depends on the flavors) and to end up with a 24 ml nic and 50/50. Per the juice me up calculator you should be putting in-
1.8ml of the nic mix
- 2.1ml of the PG
5 of the VG
In other words you can't get to 50/50 from there as is. But you can do about 80/20.

When your setting up in your calculator be sure to-
1. Check that your nic starting percentage and the type of base it uses are correct
2. Check that the target PG and VG percentages are correct
3. Uncheck any flavorings that are non PG so they don't count in your PG total. This is only important if your really fussy about final percentages. I also use to get some wiggle room when I'm trying to fudge numbers.
4. Some calculators need you to hit the calculate button to get the correct figures. Be sure to hit that button if your using the e-juice calculator for example.

I'm confused. I think a couple of the recipes, one from the result 1 and one from the result 2, posted would help me understand.

Right now I'm wondering if it isn't a case of not having read my flavoring levels blog? That's usually the case when someone starts with the notion of needing strong flavor without realizing how flavoring levels work. Which is how I discovered the levels myself because I need strong flavor and didn't understand when I hit levels 7 & 8.
