getting things tweaked

I've made my own juice a couple times, but I am missing the mark somewhere.

Here is what I have:

I am trying to be nic free.

VG
PG
and PG based flavors from the Perfume Apprentice. ( I have Virginia Fire Cured, tobacco flavor, and tobacco blend(ALC)

I tried 50/50, but my mouth felt oily.
I just tried 70/30 (pg/vg), vape was nice but flavor was poor and NO bite.

I want a vape that just tastes like a cigarette, and give me good vape with decent throat hit. (I like a pretty hard throat hit)

Help a girl out would ya? Whats the secret method?

Throat hit comes from nicotine and is tough to get with out it. There are ways to get a 0nic TH but i'm not the one to help you, maybe someone that knows can comment.

I use a Virginia Fire Cured but it is from Flavour West and mix it at 13% with 1% MTS Vape Wizzard and 1% TPA Cotton Candy, It's good but does not taste like a cigarette.

That whole post sounds really dirty . So your mouth felt oily, no bite and your looking for the secret method to getting a pretty hard throat hit huh LMAO . Sorry i had to . Its late lol

As far as my waiting a couple weeks, I've been vaping for over 6 months now. I dont miss the nic, but I miss the good old tobacco taste.

And I really really miss a good throat hit. From the inhale of a smoke. (just clearing things up for the pervs)

So, ya'll made me chuckle. That's good. Now, any suggestions on how to get a good throat hit?

IF I need to add some nic, then so be it. I already have VG and PG, any suggestions on how to add nic to the mix?

Some add PGA (pure grain alcohol) to juices to up the throat hit. You'll have to search to find amounts, though. There should be plenty of throat hit posts that talk about PGA.

lemon or lime flavoring will give a TH..probably not quite the hit you want tho,,,,just a thought

Try using a higher % of VG. I am using around 75-80% on something now. But I have nic in it

VG will give the opposite effect . Id try flash like mentioned above . PGA works but imo adds a bad taste to the juice . Upping the nic always works .

I use either Flavour Art Cowboy or Flavour Art Black Fire flavors for a regular analog taste. I don't really think Virginia tastes like an analog, but that may be just me.

This is what I would mix:

5ml base 70%PG/30%VG

Cowboy or Black Fire 3 drops
Ethyl Maltol dilution (Sweetener) 3 drops
Apple Cider Vinegar 2 drops

This is actually a quite smooth and flavorful mix.

So...You want to add throat hit?

High Proof Vodka, 100 proof and above, start by adding 2 drops and increase as necessary.

HOLY COW.

I had about about 10 ml of the following:

80% PG
20% Vg

with a PG solution of Virginia cured flvoring from Perfrumers apprentice.

To this I added 2 drops menthol solution (alc)
and three drops of Everclear.

WOW! ALMOST Perfect. Mellow slightly sweet tobacco taste. Just a hint of menthol in my sinuses, and and almost perfect hit on my throat. and AWESOME vapor!

I checked this stuff out awhile back but I think it is a base liquid that has flavors options. I don't even remember if you can buy it without a flavoring. At the time, I was looking for TH options but decided against using this stuff for my diy.

You REALLY need to try the vinegar with your tobacco mixes. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much it will improve your mix. It will smooth out the flavor and stabilize the chemical reactions in your juice so it will last longer. Use 2 drops or less per 5ml. Don't worry, you won't taste the vinegar at this concentration, but you will be amazed at how good your juice tastes!

The forever tobacco skeptic here...
After reading Jimi D's review of Black Fire and seeing this recipe, I had to try it. Got my BF the other day and mixed some of this up (didn't mention steeping, but I gave it 3 days anyway). Just loaded it up and it's mighty darned tasty, thanks!

I can see this Black Fire mixed with all kinds of stuff!
