Hi all, i recently got a new bellus rta on my ipv4s and currently running on dual 26g kanthal. The thing is, i built it last night and vaped it, it was normal. This morning too, until now my Ipv4s says short! And after awhile it says error! Then i realized when i press the firing button smoke is coming out from the mod itself!! Not the atty! So i quickly turned it off and took out the batteries (LG choc bars) inspected the mod and there was liquid at the top posts. So i inspected the batteries but they were fine. I suspected that maybe the juice from the tank leaked thru somewhere but im using a heat sink as well. Would appreciate if anyone might be able to help me.

The bottom pin on the bellus is adjustable. It might have screwed it a little while u were screwing the tank on top of ur mod.

Try to loosen the bottom pin so that it juts out a bit and give it a shot again.

Also, check to see if your coils are built close enough to the posts. The tolerence is pretty tight on the tank and you might have some contact between the coils and the metal parts of the tank.

If all else fails, get yourself a new tank!

Well i think my mod is dead. One of the components on the electrical board is burnt up. And yes i have tried what you have mentioned. Even tried my other attys and the bellus on my brothers mod. The bellus still works on my brothers mod.

I've heard issues with leaking, but reading your case I scared cos i'm using the same mod as well! And i also thought of using heat sink!!:facepalm: Hahahahaha
I think it should be fine bcos i ran my bellus on my brothers mod and there was no issue at all. Will see if anything happens the next few days
