OK, so.. The naughtyfun core does not fit the Hercules, (RH-clone), yes?

Otoh, that device is considered a well-made successor to the Terminator, yes?

Threaded parts do interchange, yes?

Is there any compelling reason to buy a Hercules over a Terminator, (other than the GGTSxyz base)?

Dual coil capability is the biggest difference

So I'm getting a little bit of gurgle/bubbling with the Herc. It's not flooding or leaking so I'm sure it's from the long nut that the center post screws into...either it's too close to the coils or I'm pulling up a little juice from the slots in the bottom of the ceramic (tank under the tank). I know this has been addressed before but I'm looking for a solution that does not involve blocking off the slots in the bottom of the ceramic...I like the feature of extra/runoff juice being re-wicked back up into the wick channels so I don't want to close it off with the round part of the nut or an o-ring. I can't get that replacement nut people are getting with a genuine Ithaka so any other suggestions? I was thinking of trimming the nut down with my dremel or trying to use a nut from one of my Terminator rebuildable parts but I'm not sure if it would fit or even help if it does fit...

Do the parts (tanks and core) interchange?

I almost had the impression it's an attempt to dump "last years model". My Term-C is already earmarked for the (eventual) Naughtyfun core, and I am tempted to get a Herc to "replace" the reliable vape the Term-C is at this time. Note: I am using the MrKrinkle with XS and a 'dual coil' wrap of 29ga.. Very tasty.

On mine with a cut off wheel on a Dremel clone I cut the top half of the nut so it's even with the air tube. Also if you notice that the mouthpiece changes size on the I.D., I think this muffles the crackling sound of the coil and may be misinterpreted as gurgling. I'm not sure about this, it's something that I've been thinking about though.

Mouthpiece length and stops have to be considered when swapping tanks but Oddy/Ithaka, Nuatilus/ Hercules/Fasttech Ithaka clone all pretty much can swap parts.

The cores interchange to some degree if you take into account the longer center pin on the Herc. It works out better in most cases if your using a ggts base I think. The housings are very interchangable. My favorite setup right now is using a big mouthpiece from rampage with a SS Term. tank added to the Herc. body for a custom big mode.

Thanks for the reply. Next time I rebuild I'll break out my dremel and trim the nut down. To be honest I think the nut is too close to the coil anyway (makes it sound like a soft snore even when it doesn't gurgle).
That was my reason, to change the focus of the air stream.
I noticed the Terms had better flavor but really the atomizer was almost the same so I looked at what was different.

I can't tell you how much better I like the top cap/nut on the Hercules/Ithaka. I used to spend so much time making sure the top nut was centered perfectly on the Terminator and even then sometimes it would not be a proper seal. I just make sure the o-ring is lubbed with juice and crank this thing down and it seals every time...much better design. When Stormy starts selling parts for the Herc. I think I'm going to replace the top of my Terminator.

I just recently paid $26 for Ithaka tank top and cap from E Smoker-Guru, I bought other parts also but if not it would have been cheaper to buy the FastTech clone just for those two parts. It didn't come with the o-ring.
Much better setup than Oddy for sealing.

 $35.22 I have no control over my hands. They are making me order this. Good Lord, it's worth it just for spare parts.

There's a co-op for RH ithaka clone. $30. Plus many other RH items at Bucky's.

There's also a Co-op for the Rainbow Heaven Hercules (Ithaka clone) on Facebook Land of Vape Co-ops: $26.50 -$35.14 delivered.

Yep...had to pull the trigger. While the FastTech clone is pretty decent, and I'm loving it, I've always had a soft spot for RH's stuff ....too good to pass up.
