It's out there, but for the LOVE OF GOD avoid it. You can tell it's SUPPOSED to be bacon, but it's not bacon. More like licking the pan the bacon was fried (and moderately burnt) in.
I think if I do anything with bacon flavor it will be added to savory flavors, like the breads, tomatoes, spicy kinds. I'm thinking bacon and hot chili might be interesting....or at least the smokehouse flavor with hot chili
