Thanks Mary. Same here with the lite drugs, smoked a little in my young years, but if I had known pauseheimers would be kicking my a** now, I may would have imbibed more. I am an "ine" addict, caffeine and nicotine. Drink a little now and then, Cat Daddy & Pepsi or a margarita sitting out back by the fire pit, listening to blues. A couple times a year I'll have a shot of peach brandy, the kind w/o a label.

Ladies - whatever works best for you - just do it.

For me - I enjoy vaping more than smoking. In my last couple of years, analogs were really starting to taste like crap. I only smoked them because I had to. I tried so many things to quit but was never successful.

I love the different flavors of vaping. I gave up the analogs 2 days after vaping began. I love not coughing, wheezing and smelling like an ashtray. I don't plan on giving up vaping. I went from medium to low and will soon go to zero.

I started out with 901's, but got a little frustrated with inconsistent vapor. I have now switched to the penstyles. They are bigger, but I get a lot more vapor and it is definitely more consistent. It keeps me happy
and satisfied.

Don't beat yourselves up. Just keep at it.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who welcomed me here. I haven't been able to post to say thanks up until now.

Update: got my ecig in Monday and have been doing pretty well I think. I'm down from 2 packs a day to a half a pack in just 5 days so I'm a happy camper. I was thinking I need a way to hang this new toy around my neck so I don't loose it. My son loved my ecig so much I had to order a second kit so up until today we've been sharing the first kit.

Anyway thanks all for the welcome.

I purchased the Nebula's from Vapornine. They are two part disposable type units so I don't have to worry about atomizers per say. I've got plenty of extra cartomizers that I refill with liquid...son has been nursing the same cartomizer since Tuesday so not bad.....however extra batteries would be great, I guess I should order a few.

Side note: my son hasn't touched a ciggy in 4 days..I'm thinking that was the best gift I could have ever given him. :D

Down the rabbit hole..
I got my first ecig on Black Friday shopping at the mall with my daughter. She had seen them before and wanted me to try them so I could quit smoking. I had no intention of quitting at that time but I bought it to use in smoke prohibitive places. To my suprise I like it and my smoking decreased from a pack/pack 1/2 a day down to a 1/2 pack within a couple of weeks and pretty much stayed that way

In April, I decided I wanted to quit smoking so I joined the forum and bought a couple of different PV's (I got tried of buying carts or refilling them) and started mixing my own juice, I love all the different flavors. I buy the 36mg and cut it usually to 11mg sometimes less. I am happy to say I haven't had an analog since April 29th!!!!
The support and info and caring and sharing on this forum is awesome---what a great group of people!! So for you guys trying to quit analogs--don't beat yourselves up and don't give up vaping just do it at your own pace you will get there!!! If I can do it anyone can, lol.

Hello all! I started vaping 9 days ago, with the DSE801 penstyle, and have not had an analog since. I would like to quit eventually. Not having any big issues with it, but it took a while to get used to filling the cartridges without making a mess!! I don't like it on my hands or anything because I have a nosy cat who will want to lick it.

Hi LouAnn, I post a hello to you in Flavors but I will be happy to do it again! Welcome!:)
You plan is like mine, quit analogs and then try to quit e-cigs..good luck to us both!!! But you know I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
I am feeling a bit less dependant on my e-cig (or personal vaporizer-P.V.).
I used to wake up in the middle of the night for a smoke, then after I got my 901, I got up to vape a bit. Now I am sleeping all night and having coffee before I want a vape! By late night I am all vaped out..and I am doing 6 nic or 0 nic!
So like I said.."Here there be Hope".:thumb:

Wow, you are doing great!! I think it will be a while before I have my coffee first, but that's OK. I just want to be down to 0 nic by Christmas. I got my flavors from LorAnn's and they are wonderfull!! I'm diabetic and someone gave me a bunch of 3CC needles, and now I know what to use them for. I can mix up a small amt in the needles. That way I don't need to get bottles. The important thing is I don't have to WAIT to get bottles..LOL. Anyway the flavors are wonderfull. I highly recommend LorAnn's
Nice to meet you, Mary Kay. Oh, and I love your icons!!

Umm just asking, but how will you get the mix in the needle..yuck yuck and psssff. Can you tell I am not all that fond of needles?:p

Welcome LouAnn.. its great to have you here. It sounds like you're doing great with the vaping, grats on that. My plan is to get down to 0 nic eventually. I'm not pushing or rushing myself at this point, it will happen I'm sure.

My son decided to light up a real cigarette last night, he took one drag and said ewww. So silly me, said hey don't put that out, let me try it, had one drag.. ewww is right. I seriously don't know how I smoked the yucky sticks for so long, and I'm so glad I found out about ecigs. I vaped a lot my first few days, but I noticed the past two days I've already started tapering off without even thinking about it. There is hope for me still.
