Hi all!!! It's hump day. Anyways...I couldn't resist taking apart the top portion of my RoughStack from madvapes to see what was inside! LOL Do you know how many times this has gotten me in trouble? Or how many times I've put things back together, and look at the table and have a pile of leftover parts and screws?

So, the lower portion of the rough stack is simply hollow with a spring on the bottom for the negative terminal of your battery. Didn't want to show that because King_Calculon did an awesome review with tons of pictures found here : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronic-cigarette-reviews/135651-roughstack-madvapes.html

So, I just wanted to show people the region of the device that someday may need maintenance, and how easy it's going to be to fix. By the looks of it, I highly doubt I would ever need to fix anything, since it's very robust and mechanical. To be safe, though, I have already ordered and received the 3A replacement switch and a couple more 510 battery connectors :p As you will see, both the switch, and the 510 connector will be SUPER easy to replace...and that makes me feel very comfortable.

Here are the pics...I hope you like!!!

LOL :p

When I was still green (a week or so ago) what helped me understand so much was all of the videos, live chat, and pictures of these devices that you all provided! So I hope I can help too 8) Plus...I can't control myself, I love this vaping stuff so much...like seriously, I don't see an end in sight for me blowing fat plumes :O

Excellent pix, Ice. Always wondered about where the soldering point was on the switch/circuit board. So the switch leg is soldered to the spring which in turn connects to the positive of the atty and the whole body is the negative I take it. If Hoog asks you permission to use your pix on the site, hope you give an ok. Benefits vendor and customers so a win-win.

Yes, I think you are correct about the connections...took me a while to realize the body was negative. I think I will take a rotated image to show both legs of he switch connector. Any pictures I post I really have no problem with anyone doing whatever they want to them! Thanks for your feedback!!

I saw watermelon juice on the first pic! I blame you Ice for making me order yesterday. lol
Now.. what about the maxi roughstack? :p

That watermelon is so yummy. And I haven't let it steep, I can't...So I am probably not getting the full experience on flavors yet! My next order is going to have a bunch of fruit flavors!

Yes, I saw that Maxi Rough Stack, and they have a new Midi Stack! Pretty nice. With the longer body of the Maxi, the MadVapes website reads:

"The maxi Roughstack is built to last a long time and will accept an 18650 battery for all day vaping or two 16340 3 volt batteries for 6 volts or 2 18350's for a whopping 7.4 volts*"

WOWSA!!

Is yours rock tumbled finish? I actually prefer the small one ~ stealthy vaper also it has that rugged look and seems very durable. Good when I'm outside working in the garden.

Actually I agree with you on the smaller one...hidden in the palm of your hand, it does very well. VERY rugged...and as you can see...all parts can be easily replaced...totally happy! I just tried Menthol again, but in a cartomizer...WOW...it got way minty-er!! I'm going to try the trick now on the carto, where you use the "condom" thingy to cover to of the vent holes on the base of the carto, to tighten the "draw" some...right now the draw is too easy on this carto.

Hmmm...maybe I should do some work in between!
