You won't find a 30 amp continuous discharge rated battery with more than 1500 mAh. With higher amp ratings, you sacrifice mAh capacity. You can't have both a high amp rating and a high mAh rating. That's how it works.

** I haven't seen it available yet, but Samsung should have a 2000 mAh 30 amp battery sometime in the future.

Yeah, the charge on a 1500 mah battery won't last long at the voltages you are currently using. That's the sacrifice you pay for using such high voltages.

You could drop your coil resistance to a more reasonable 0.6 ohms and use a 25 amp battery that will have more mAh.

** You'll notice that I don't include the Chinese batteries like AWT, Basin, Efest, Imren, MXJO, etc because they use false and exaggerated ratings. buy only genuine batteries made by Japanese/Korean manufacturers like Lg, Samsung, or Sony, who do not exaggerate their ratings.
I talked to a buddy of mine. He says he's been using 20 amp batteries in his Hex Ohm for over a year and have never had to buy new batteries or has he had any problems. He's been vaping years and uses a mech mod now but still uses the Hex Ohm.

You seem to only want to justify what you have. That is fine, just do what you want and ignore the people that are trying to help you. Just keep in mind what we all warned you about, and if it happens know that it was not unexpected.

I already said that lower amp batteries CAN be fine. But you seem obsessed with "max power" so I was just telling you how to achieve that safely.

You misunderstand. To get the full 180w, you would need 30a. But if you don't use it at full power, then lower amp, higher mah would be fine.

You also seem to avoid my questions to you, which is quite disrespectful since I have been nothing short of nice to you, and not just rip on you for not doing research and educating yourself before buying an advanced level mod.
I talked to a buddy of mine thays used a 20 amp battery for over a year on his Hex Ohm and runs it full power. He's never had to buy new batteries and has never had an issue. Im assuminng he knows about ohms and batteries cause he uses a purge double stack mech mod. He said he doesnt see the problem. Im just telling u what he told me.

Running your equipment at 100% of its abilities all the time is never recommended. Anyone who claims it is ok should be seconded guessed.

How is "what your buddy does" like remotely apply to YOU?

I have buddies who drive drunk sometimes and that fact in NO WAY implies that I should do it. I also have acquaintances with substance abuse problems who have been "ladies of the night" to support their habit, but that IN NO WAY means I'm going to go out and do it?

Do you have a buddy that's a good plastic surgeon? Because otherwise, what your buddies do is TOTALLY IMMATERIAL to YOUR ACTUAL LIFE.

Is this some lemming parade? Although, I guess it's good for those of similar IQ to hang out I guess. Less arguments. Until something blows up.

Everyone is free to vape as they see fit. Not everyone follows the same safety standards.

MOST folks on this forum believe in SAFETY FIRST. They don't recommend new vapers use a mech mod without first gaining valuable experience with a regulated mod. They don't recommend others to push their batteries over their safe limits. They encourage people to research and educate themselves and learn how to use their gear safely. We encourage people to learn about battery specifications in order to choose the best batteries for their vaping application.

Sometimes we have to say, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
