I use the hex ohm 3. Is it regulated or unregulated? I was told its the most powerful mod. It goes to 6 volts and 180 watts without pulsing. But it has safety devices so is it regulated? Does it act as an unregulated mod? Any thoughts?
Um, like I think I gave you the wrong information and etc. I think that's actually a regulated mod, not a mech. I looked it up but I'm prepared to be wrong either way.
It has a potentiometer so it is considered regulated. As far as it being the most powerful mod?No but it will hit 180 watts. I don't know why anyone would need "the most powerful " mod anyway. Unless of course you plan on launching your atomizer into space.
There are plenty of regulated mods out now that do over 200w. Some get into the 300-400 range. I never understood the need for that much power but to each his own. I have a Minikin V2 I use for my crazy high wattage stuff. Those max at 180. They are solid little mods. I have never taken it above 130 watts and that was with quad coils in it. It was too hot for my taste.
Is the Hexohm 3 a VV device? If I remember correctly the V1 was. I havent been up close and personal with a Hex since the V1. Seems that way. 6V @ .2 ohms = 180w
