Introducing the SMOKtech Stainless Shorty - a Single Coil 23.5mm Mini Dynamo in Three Ohms! IS IT A SUPER DRIPPER? IS IT A CARTO?

Big brother of the Shorty clear 22mm - We were truly impressed with the overall performance of the SMOKtech Shorty. We feel like it is almost has quasi-dripper functionally. The Shorty can take approximately 10-15 drops of ejuice, an easy and fast filling experience, no leaking issues and an essential component in a handy low-profile mobile solution when the need calls for it. Pair this with a mini-ego and you have taken stealth vaping to another level.

Standard eGo cones fit over the Shorty with the top of the cone sitting flush with the top of the Shorty - add a drip tip for your mouthpiece and you are all set. The addition of a cone allows full protection of the entire Shorty carto if carrying in your shirt or jeans pocket, purse, or... go James Dean stylie and tuck it behind your ear especially when paired with a 510 stick-style battery (see pictures on the left).

SMOKtech does a good job on filler mass, providing an excellent, just-right draw, not too packed and not too loose and also facilitating easy absorption of your eJuice without causing any leaking issues.

The SMOKtech Shorty STAINLESS 23.5mm Single Coil:
• Available in 1.7ohm, 2.5ohm and 3.0ohm• 23.5mm in length (same as the SMOKtech atomizers) can accept standard 510 drip tips or use the included mouthpiece. •Holds ~10-15 drops or around .7ml
• Filling:Remove mouth piece, slant slightly to the side and drip 4-5 drops here and there directly on the batting going around the perimeter of the inside of the Shorty. Eyeball your filler until it appears fully soaked - about 10-15 drops. Do not be afraid to overfill, simply blow through the Shorty through the mouthpiece into a napkin to remove excess juice and before screwing in to your battery.

Every time I see something like this I always think about how nice they would be for a bottom feeder, I never considered using them as a dripper style cartomizer. Interesting idea.

I'm still trying to talk myself into some of these stainless ones... They look great on my 510 mini-cig but I've really come to enjoy being able to see the juice level in the clear ones... I guess I'll need to hurry up and decide with the Raven's finally getting ready to hit the shelves

Trying out the SS shorty and wow it hits great, better imo than the reg size boge and smoktech resurrectors.. plus.. it looks perfect on my KGO ..with the short 'budgie' drip tip.. the tip extends out perfectly from the cone that goes on it.. will throw up a pic maybe here in a bit.. also.. got the ss one primarily to use with the atomic cinnacide eliquid I have, because was concerned the polycarbonate ones wouldn't fare as well with cinnamon juices.. I got 20 drops in on first fill which I thought was odd, with no overfill at all..the tip on the atomic cinnacide is smaller than some other ejuice dripper tips I have, so maybe that was why I got so many.

Not best pics due to shiny silver kgo picking up the tabletop color they were on.. really nice looking, like they were made to fit exactly with the kgo.. getting a mini-ego in a few days primarily for the shorty cartos but this works well also.

Atomic Cinnacide is GREAT in these things...thank you for the review...yes and its strange they don't leak, when I was demoing this I put about 13-15 drops in it and I thought I could put more but I was live on video and I didn't want to push it...I think it has good leakage protection and the juice pools at bottom and doesn't leak out and is siphoned into the filler when needed...

By the way the Budgie tips are aluminum so they should not deteriorate with acidic juices...I keep forgettign to add that to the product description...

I concur, the shorties are a winner, im actually surprised how well they perform and everyone knows im not a filler fan, but the stallions and the shorties are slowly changing my mind

I have the clear shorties...have only filled one but I am finding it VERY airy. Is there a fix. Is the stainless one less airy? I really want to use these on my short ego bats but need a harder draw.

I've always preferred a lighter draw... odd how much people differ on that subject.

I suspect you can probably break off a tip of a pointed toothpick in one of the holes found just above the threads of the connector to tighten the draw up.

I have both the ss shortys and the clear/colored shortys... the ss ones are so much better in my opinion
